I have been a a caregiver for 12 yrs. My mother passed away 1 year ago at 95 and was blessed to help in her care. She had dementia for her last 10 yrs. She passed peacefully at home. I was in charge of bathing, cooking and cleaning. Also medication and dr visits. It would be a honor if I can help you or family member.

I have always been passionate about making the lives of those I care for owing to my experience in clinical practice as a an LVN/LPN licensed Nurse and a volunteering work in healthcare in which I have managed the aged and elderly and built a wonderful relationship with them which has helped the outcome of daily living, much improved. Owing to this experience, its been my passion to continue on such opportunities to provide quality care for my clients to make their lives much better.

I really enjoy helping the patient comfortable in their own space. My grandfather and the way he was treated in a nursing home. He just wanted to be at his home. Helping my patient feel comfortable and relaxed. Letting him or her tell stories about the past,love,kids, what it was like in the old days. Being there for them when they need me most. What I love most about caregiving is the one on one time with my patients doing little things that make their days such as going for walks,doing their hair nails .My biggest accomplishment is going back to school .

I have always loved taking care of people since I was young, I took care of my elderly grand mom and then my mom when they were sick. That was one of the things that motivated me into nursing and have never looked back, that Taking care of people is what I love doing.
