I have a religious background and making a difference in other people's lives is a virtue to live for . I have worked in a memory care eg Falls river court , UNC Chapel hill post surgery unit , Wakemed behavior health and central prison as a healthcare technician and as a medication technician. I have seen people who have recovered from major surgeries going home from hospitals and it has given me satisfaction that I participated in their care. I am empathetic by nature and driven mostly to see the results than just money.
I am a very kind person who love to help others,no matter what the situation may be. I like caregiver job because it helps me to carry on my dreams. The personal achievement is to see the person of whom I give to come back to his /her normal stage of live. I am strong, hard working, trustworthy, friendly,a good cook, does good house keeping and love older people.
I became a caregiver to help others, as I have always possessed an innate desire to do just that. Since elders can't always communicate themselves, I felt a compelling need to do this for them in the best way I knew possible. Naturally, I enjoy that rewarding feeling you get from being a Caregiver but it goes deeper than that. Addressing a problem (emotionally or medically) by noticing that something just isn't right or \\\\\\"off' and rectifying it is even more gratifying! I am proud that I was able to attend a private school in NC, and become a Medical Assistant. It definitely expanded my horizons, and \\\\\\"opened new doors\\\\\\" for me. Through obtaining a Medical Assistant diploma, I have gained a world of experience through employment in doctor offices. I can now say I am both a Medical Assistant and certified Nursing Assistant. Although I enjoyed working as a Medical Assistant for several years, I missed the comaradery of conversing and interacting with the senior population. Given the opportunity to fulfill this passion has enabled me to feel the utmost gratification. As Caregiver, I pledge that I will give 100% to all clients promoting compassion, kindness, and being as empathatic as possible.
I would say what inspired me to become a caregiver is not only that I am currently enrolled in college for nursing but that I have been caring for my mother for the past 16 years following an automobile accident. I think it is important to develop a good relationship with each client / patient and to provide the utmost care while allowing the patient to feel comfortable when being cared for. I would consider myself a nurturer and a caring person I enjoy the reward of helping others and the Fulfillment of being able to help others. I have my associate's degree and applied science through medical assisting at Wake Technical Community College and have worked for 5 years and medical offices as a certified medical assistant. I'm currently enrolled in pre-nursing at Wake Tech and plan to obtain my RN nursing degree.

I'm a single mom with a 19 yr old and a 24 yr old son, 19 yr still live with me, I just recently moved to Raleigh this Month. i have a 3 yr grand daughter,
Hello my name. Is Traci, I have been in the medical field for 26 years. I started as a CNA when I was 17. I work in a skilled nursing facility for 8 years. During the home care part time. After 8doing the home care field area for a couple years, I fell in love with home care and left the nursing facility. I then continued doing the home care until. In 2003 to 2004, I decided to go back to school to futher my career. I went to school to become a CMA & a Phlebotomist. I have three childern oldest my daughter 24yrs old and married. My twin boys 17 yrs old. moved to NC shortly after graduating. I worked at Central Prision as a Phlebotomist for 9 months, I left because I no longer felt safe in that enviorment. I did work for a heart & Vascular Dr. as a CMA for 2 years. I just wasn't happy, I realized that my true passion was Home Care. So once again I went back to Home Care. I have been doing home care since 2011. I believe that the elderly no matter what illness they may have being with loved ones they have that quality of life. They also may feel that they still have some ferling that they have control of there life even a little bit. They one on one care they get that personal attenion. That' why I love the Home Care field is because I can give that personal attening the client needs and make a difference even just for a day. I know that I made a difference in there life. I have the most exerience with Alzhimers and Damentia Clients. I have do have expeience with other illnesses that I have come across over my many years in the home care field. I have experience with transferring, daily hygiene, preparing meals, assitanace with feeding, medication management and so many other things I am willing to help your loved one. I have a copy of my Driving Records, Insurance Cards, DL, Schools Transcripts, SS number and my last two references (for privacy numbers given until on intervie) Thank for your time an concideration.
I genuinely love to nurture and care for others. From childhood on, I knew I wanted to work in the healthcare field so that I might be able to help those in need. Due to adverse conditions, I was unable to pursue my dream of becoming a nurse, so I initially became a CNA and later became a Medical Assistant. I thoroughly enjoy the comaraderie and direct contact of both positions. As a Medical Assistant, I learned how to draw blood, give injections, vitals, laboratory procedures.....so worked in this field until relocating to Raleigh, NC. There was such a great need for CNAs at that time so I decided to branch out on my own work as private duty caregiver. Since doing so, I have been blessed with wonderful clients, and word of mouth from previous clients has certainly contributed to my success. I am proud of making the decision to become my own boss, and having the initiative and desire to do so. My last private duty assignment ended in April after eighteen months of caring for an Alzheimers' client that ultimately passed away. I grew to love her dearly, and will always hold a special place in my heart for her. Currently, I am doing fill-in work, but am seeking a full time caregiving position.
