I became a caregiver because of my great grandma .she lived to be 110 years old.i helped take care of her. until she passed away. i truly enjoyed taking of her,it was so rewarding, after she passed away i decided to become Cna so can give same loving care to somebody. i love what i do. i have been care giver since 1997.

Sympathetic, compassionate, ability to listen to the patients, patiences I love to help people and my passion was to always be a nurse. That I am able to provide care for those in need. And show compassion, and just over all be there for them when they have no one else I am moving towards my goal in life which is becoming a nurse and I will continue my RN schooling soon.

I enjoy helping others and always putting a smile on someone's face even if they are having a difficult day. I have been doing caregiving since I got out of high school. I have worked in nursing home setting with elderly,in group home setting with individuals that have disabilities,memory care facility with the elderly population and with Alzheimer's/dementia. I enjoy what I do and caring for others,because we all will get there someday and how i see it is that you as a person want to always be treated with respect and people being nice,so it should always be that way when caring for others. I am a native Las Vegan that currently resides in Henderson. I have 3 children and 2 dogs. I enjoy being outdoors, watching movies and music. I am currently a licensed CNA with the Nevada State Board of Nursing. I graduated from an accelerated course with honors. I enjoy being around people from all walks of life. I feel we all have a story to tell. I enjoy assisting my clients with activities of daily living and try every day to do this while bringing dignity and confidence back to the client. I have extensive experience with dementia and Alzheimers. The thing I like most about being a CNA is the fact that I have a opportunity every single day to make someones life happier, weather that is by sharing stories or a sandwich, I take every day as a new chance to help someone. I have over 15 years experience in home ,acute care,skilled facility and private one on one. MY husband and I of 30 years marriage have raised 6 children and now have 20 grandchildren I am very family oriented and love the unity of family. MY maturnal grandmother and my father both had dementia and alzeimers. I took care of both of them. I've been in the medical field since the age of 14 volunteering in what then was call nursing homes. as a teen I've always loved caring for people.

I love working as a caregiver, for I am a people person; I get along with most. I have a special place in my heart for the elderly-they have so much to give and have a lot of interesting history in their lives and counting. I am a team player, and I do show compassion for people; especially the people that feel that they are left out in society. We are all special people and are oh so precious to God. I worked as a stall nurse in a hospital from September 1985 up to 1989.,I performed my duties professionally, efficiently with care and concern and gave high standard quality nursing care. From April 1989 up to January 1990 i worked in a pharmacy and clinic as a staff clinic nurse.after doing clinic job i decided to become a public health nurse from May 1990 up to April 2014.. I migrated to USA on May 2014.I Am a Registered Nurse in the Philippines. I am a Certified nursing Assistant issued by Nevada State Board of Nursing.
