Growing up in a family of medical professionals I surely thought that one day I would become a nurse. After watching my aunt take care and aid the sick in her home, I knew I wanted to become more hands-on with patients. While still in college ,I became a Caregiver for a friend of the family, and it made me want to be surrounded on a daily basis by this kind of environment of helping someone who needs assistance is what made me want to become a caregiver.

Can drive the client to do errands, shopping, walks and Doctor visits. I also help with bathing/showering,dressing,hygience assistance, meal preparation and light housekeeping.
What makes me a great caregiver is that I have Passion and Heart in what I do. I became a caregiver because I believe everyone needs great care at their most needy moments in life with someone who has patience and understanding. My Achievements has been knowing I've done a 100% in making my client feel comfortable, safe, loved, and with a smile on their faces before my day is complete. I feel that I would be the perfect care giver because I'm loyal, dependable, caring, loving, treating your love one as if they were my own family.
I'm not much for bragging on my self but I will say that I have innate sense of selflessness and empathy, I try to show a willingness to serve, an absence of “attitude,” and the patience to weather a patient’s bad days, all with a smile on my face. I believe that happiness and laughter are on of the greatest heal tool ever. I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. Or when your doing some little something special for them, they stop you, and say thank you. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. Meeting new people and providing caregiving services that they can no longer do for themselves. I enjoy the opportunity to impact peoples’ lives and make a difference to them. I appreciate the chance to get to know clients and their families and become an integral part of their lives. I will always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses, just as I did with my dad when he was ill with cancer. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client’s day, that means a lot to me. It is important to laugh.
