I have over 20 years experience with taking care of the elderly including my family members. I am a very patient and caring person and very understanding. I am willing to learn new things. I enjoy reading, gardening, crocheting and other crafts.

I'm an outgoing person that has the common sense to respect others. I believe on treating others the way you want to be treated. In some instances that hasn't always been reciprocated, but my professionalism, de-escalationabilities and problem solving skills have allowed me to always provide courteous professional service to others. Being a Caregiver is pretty much second nature to me. I have acted as a Caregiver since I was nine years old Assisting elderly grand parents. In high school I studied Allied Health Science and later became a Nursing Assistant. I loved it. Every day was a new challenge and completing each challenge was its own reward. Although I would have to say that. I thought it was awesome that a gentleman stopped me in the grocery store to tell me thank you for saving his life. He said continuing to do CPR until help arrived although everyone else walked away saved his life. All I could do was think about how bad felt knowing that guy died

I sold my home recently and fulfilled my dream of moving south! I have 2 fully grown Daughters and 5 grandchildren. I love to read,swim, and go camping, as well as spend time at the beach Family is important to me. I love to cook and clean . I am passionate about helping others

Hi , I am a hardworking loving person who strives to help others and make life just a little easier if possible. I've been caring for my grandmother for some years as she deals with being wheelchair bound and currently dealing with dementia . My drive to be a caregiver would come from her and my grandfather who I also took care of. I have lots of experience from daily life , cleaning , caring for colonoscopy bags and more ! The love I have for others and how I would want my own people to be treated make me want to do this ten times more !

What makes me a good caregiver is my personality and my work ethic. I am likely to find things to do to keep myself busy and keep my client busy with things they are able to do. I have worked with people with all ranges of abilities and I can easily adapt to new situations. I tend to find the silver lining in situations and my clients like that I am just an overall happy person. I know when to encourage and when to back off as to not exhaust my clients when they are trying to complete an activity. I like having open communication with family members so they can stay up to date on their loved one's progress.

I feel I have a gift of a servants heart especially to the elderly. I am a hard worker and I go the extra mile to increase my clients quality of living. I believe each clients needs are different and my goal is to meet those needs on an individual basis. I not only work for the client but I become their friend and companion. I enjoy being a caregiver because I love making a difference in the clients life and love the reward of seeing that difference.

I am a mother of three (two humans and one dog) who enjoys hiking and horticulture. I became a caregiver after seeing so much abuse within the nursing community. Elderly patients are among the most vulnerable, but most often neglected. I enjoy talking to my patients, learning their history, and taking them outdoors.
