In high school I studied Allied Health Science and later became a Nursing Assistant. I loved it. Every day was a new challenge and completing each challenge was its own reward. Although I would have to say that. I thought it was awesome that a gentleman stopped me in the grocery store to tell me thank you for saving his life. He said continuing to do CPR until help arrived although everyone else walked away saved his life. All I could do was think about how bad felt knowing that guy died

Working as a caregiver has been apart of me since 2014. I get the job done, do a great job at what I do and don't mind getting the job done. I became a caregiver because I took care of my great grandmother until she passes at the age of 94 years old. Right then I knew that this was my field. I took in my grandmother in which she is 75 years old and still living with me to help better my career. I like the fact that not only your love ones but those people depend on you as well as I make them happy. A personal achievement that I am proud of is finishing Registered Medical Assisting school now in school for RN as well as investing in a home care agency.

My role includes patient monitoring, medication administration, bathing, feeding, diet monitoring, toileting, and recreation. I enjoy the clients that I work with and appreciate the opportunity to form trustworthy friendships with the clients of which I benefit mentally, socially, and spiritually.
