I have over 20 years experience with taking care of the elderly including my family members. I am a very patient and caring person and very understanding. I am willing to learn new things. I enjoy reading, gardening, crocheting and other crafts.

I'm an outgoing person that has the common sense to respect others. I believe on treating others the way you want to be treated. In some instances that hasn't always been reciprocated, but my professionalism, de-escalationabilities and problem solving skills have allowed me to always provide courteous professional service to others. Being a Caregiver is pretty much second nature to me. I have acted as a Caregiver since I was nine years old Assisting elderly grand parents. In high school I studied Allied Health Science and later became a Nursing Assistant. I loved it. Every day was a new challenge and completing each challenge was its own reward. Although I would have to say that. I thought it was awesome that a gentleman stopped me in the grocery store to tell me thank you for saving his life. He said continuing to do CPR until help arrived although everyone else walked away saved his life. All I could do was think about how bad felt knowing that guy died

I am a caring and compassionate person who is detail oriented. I have a strong work ethic and 25 plus years experience in caregiving mainly with the IDD community in a group home setting. I sold my home recently and fulfilled my dream of moving south! I have 2 fully grown Daughters and 5 grandchildren. I love to read,swim, and go camping, as well as spend time at the beach Family is important to me. I love to cook and clean . I am passionate about helping others

Working as a caregiver has been apart of me since 2014. I get the job done, do a great job at what I do and don't mind getting the job done. I became a caregiver because I took care of my great grandmother until she passes at the age of 94 years old. Right then I knew that this was my field. I took in my grandmother in which she is 75 years old and still living with me to help better my career. I like the fact that not only your love ones but those people depend on you as well as I make them happy. A personal achievement that I am proud of is finishing Registered Medical Assisting school now in school for RN as well as investing in a home care agency.

Well I've beening do this type of work since I was 15 do to my aunt being in a wheel chair before I even new what it was called so u guess that's why I love what I do it comes so naturally cause I love that I can make a difference and put a smile on someones. Face I love my field of work.

Grew up in NC and been here all my life. I have 20 plus yrs of caregiver experience in various settings. My background is in mostly geriatric based care. I also have worked as a MRI Tech asst. for a short time. I enjoy patient care because being able to assist in someone's life, being able to comfort them and help aide them back to health is a reward in itself.
