I am Virginia Board Certified Nursing Assistant with over five years of home health and assisted living care. After raising four children I returned to school and became certified as a Home Health Aid, Nursing Assistant as well as Phlebotomy Tech. Raising four children has taught me that one must always use and implement active listening skills as well as expect the unexpected. I am a dedicated and compassionate caregiver who enjoys helping people. I strive in providing personalized care to my client and family. After helping my mom takes care of my father with stroke for three years, I developed passion and the desire to help care for people battling with any kind of disease. Ive always felt that taking care of people was my calling. I love every aspect of it, everyone you meet has a different story to tell so why not have a reason to spend time with them and listen to who they are. When it comes to caregiving there isn't one thing that i could say i like more than the other, simply because I cherish every moment. When it comes down to being a caregiver I dont look at it as a job, to me its more of taking care of a family member I've never met before.

I'm very patient and listens to the client needs and provide assistance. I became a caregiver when my mom became sick and I wanted to be there for her. I became good with her care that a stranger pulled me to the side and offered me a job to care for her husband at home. I am Certified Personal Care Giver and have Certificate in Nursing Assistant. In addition, I have training as Personal Safety Assistant at INOVA Fairoaks, Virginia working in ICU and ER sitting with suicidal and dementia patients.

I have decided to become a caregiver because I want to assist people who have disabilities and who have physical limitations so that they can have a better and easier life. I love being a care giver have patience and take my time to listen to their needs while I have compassion as they become like a family to me.
