I am Virginia Board Certified Nursing Assistant with over five years of home health and assisted living care. After raising four children I returned to school and became certified as a Home Health Aid, Nursing Assistant as well as Phlebotomy Tech. I believe that everyone has the right to quality care, and an advocate to ensure they are treated with dignity and respect. Raising four children has taught me that one must always use and implement active listening skills as well as expect the unexpected. I am a female Certified Nurse Assistant with over 14 years of experience in both Nursing Home and Home Care settings. I have obtained some of my experience in California and in Virginia. Throughout my career, I have worked with patients with dementia, diabetes, mild CVA, ambulation difficulties, incontinence problems, and hospice care. My primary duties include, but not limited to: activities of daily living, transferring, meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry, medication reminders, and other specialized care.

I love being a care giver have patience and take my time to listen to their needs while I have compassion as they become like a family to me. What attracts me to be a caregiver is that when I get older I would like to be treated with respect love and someone who is patience to help me. I would like to be treated just the way I treat others. What I enjoy the most of being a caregiver Is to make my patients smile and do the little things that makes their day better. I love to help people! What interested me in becoming a caregiver, was I originally worked with children and thought to myself, why not help people of all ages? I fell in love with it!
