Hi, my name is Ashley. I have been a CNA for 17 years now. I am very compassionate about helping out others and making them feel comfortable. I have had many experiences in many different stages in health. I have worked in a nursing home, hospital in ICU and Labor and Delivery, as well as with hospice patients. I am always willing to go above and beyond for my patents and wiling to help them succeed in being as independent as they please.

I've been in the care field for almost over a year now, I am certified to pass Medication in the state of Colorado, and I am trained for transfers with gate belts. I've worked in dementia and Alzheimer's units as the lead QMAP, mostly at nights. I'm beyond willing to work in home with the patient and stay over night on weekends. I know I'm a little younger but i am well beyond my years. Im very energetic and a happy go lucky girl. I love music and sharing that with my residents. I can cook and clean very well and I'm great under pressure. I love what I do and feel that I am great at what I do.

I have always enjoyed helping people in my community. It gives me great satisfaction and happiness to know that I am able to help someone who is in need. I believe every individual deserves to live life to its fullest, therefore I want to help others when they are unable to care for themselves so they may continue to have the best quality of life as possible. My greatest personal achievement in my opinion was giving birth to my four amazing children and I am really enjoying watching them all grow into beautiful, caring and intelligent young adults. Another proud achievement is graduating Vocational Nursing School and earning my degree in middle age. Nursing school has trained me very well to assess any situation I walk into as well as remain calm and professional under stress. I pay great attention to detail and will give all of my patients and their families 110% of myself. My grandfather died of ALS, and it broke my heart to watch him go from running his company and church to basically in the end, being completely incapacitated, but although he couldn't move a muscle to speak or care for himself, his mind was completely cognizant of all that was happening. It was heartbreaking to witness. That was when I decided I wanted to be a nurse. I wanted to make a difference in someone's life and show them that they could be cared for with love, kindness and compassi

I grew up with a mentally and physically disabled mother, and a mentally challenged brother, and I would want nothing more in the world then to see them taken care of and treated with kindness and respect. Working for house crazy Heidi's was a great thing for me but I would love to move forward and change more life's then I could ever, Hi I'm Autumn and I want to do housekeeping and caretaking with my life because life is so beautiful and if I could make someone else's life more beautiful even for just a moment I will. I've been working hard since I was 13 years old and took myself to school for early childhood development where I conveniently got to learn so much about mental challenges and working around injured children , although they were children I've used sooo much of what I've learned in the ADULT world and it's definitely one of the greatest choices I've made in my education . I cherish every moment I get with the people I work with because not only do I get to learn another beautiful soul but I get to make an impact and at the end of the day that's what makes caregiving worth it!

I became a caregiver because I love to take care of people and the sense of gratitude I achieve when I make someone comfortable or simply make them smile! My achievements range from awards I have received such as outstanding employee to learning so much over the years! Achievements such as phlebotomy, EKG's, suctioning, working with ventilators, vitals, oxygen and the simple fact of knowing how to deal with different patients needs! Working on a medical floor at UMASS Medical Center in Worcester, MA has taught me how to deal with a variety of patients. I have since moved to Grand Junction, CO. Where I would love to continue my medical career. Now that my children are older, I would love to continue my medical field in home health. I would love to have flexible hours.
