I have little experience as a caregiver, but I am enthusiastic and a fast learner. I have cared for elderly family members in the past, o would feed, changed diapers, helped with wheelchairs and changing. What I enjoy more about the fact of being a caregiver is enjoying time with them talk to them and most of all enjoy when they let you know how much they love the way you take care of them.

My most current achievement I am most proud of is furthering my knowledge in the medical field by receiving my Associates degree in Medical Science and my certificate in Medical Assisting.

I decided to become a Caregiver when I was searching for assistance with my parents and found that my options were limited by cost and availability. I enjoy being a Caregiver because it swells my heart and puts a smile on my face to make a difference in a family's life. Peace of mind when its your loved one is priceless. I went back to school when I was 42 years old, graduated 2 years later with honors, a 4.0 GPA, Deans List and a Associate of Science Degree in Clinical Administration and Medical Assisting, following that up 2 years later with getting my Registration as a Medical Assistant. So many times I wanted to quit, I was the oldest person on campus, besides the professors, and I was even older than a few of them, but I stuck it out and I am so proud that I did. I love what I do, I'm very lucky.

Being a caregiver helps you find the kind person inside of you. Therefore I care for the elderly as if there where my loved one.

I love my work. Been a care giver is more then a regular job. My duties are to make sure my client is well and happy with my care. I am a loving person I care for my clients...
