I'm a great caregiver because I'm passionate about helping others! I began taking care of my Disabled Mother when she was diagnosed with Dementia. I was also taking care of a good friend of mine.

I have been in the medical field for 10 years. I started as a caregiver in 2010, because I enjoy helping others especially the elderly. In 2012 I decided to go to school to become a Medical Assistant, I completed my Medical Assistant course with high honors. I have been doing both Medical Assistant and Caregiving for the last 8 years and I wouldn't have it any other way, I love what I do and I love the quality time that I'm able to spend with each of my clients.

I love working and being around elderly people. I think you can learn a lot from them and I have experience in the healthcare field. I graduated with a medical assisting diploma I'm CPR/First Aid certified. I love learning new things and I'm very friendly and good with people.

I became a caregiver 11 years ago when I decided to leave my full time job and care for my aging parents and grandmother. My mother had been caring for my father who was a stroke patient for many years and then became responsible for my grandmother who had dementia. I could see her body getting tired and her health starting to fail so I became a caregiver for all three and I care for them until the day they died. I like being a caregiver because it gives you a chance to do a job that you have to want to do. My own personal achievement would be the care I was able to give my mother and time I took to learn how to care for her and being able to be there for her like she had been there for so many others. She went first but she went knowing that I was capable of caring for my father and grandmother just as she would have. I'm a Certified Phlebotomist /Medical Assistant and the mother of two small boys I like being a caregiver because it allows me to have a job helping people and still be and available mother to my boys.

I never thought to be a caregiver until my grandma suggested it. I started off taking a CNA class and when I got my first patient I cried out of fear my teacher told me to not me scared that I was born to do it,she said go in there and care for that person like you would want someone to care for you and I did. To see the smile on my patient face was so rewarding. I've had a lot of experience with different situations I've laughed and cried but it's something I truly love .

Im a people person,caring, and i enjoy helping others. I take pride in meeting my clients needs. I have a 100% clean record and always on time .

What makes me a great caregiver is that I have the patience for others and am willing to do what it takes to make others more at ease and happy. I've been a caregiver for 1 year now and I enjoy what I do. I'm grateful to help families or others in need of assistance in care.
