What makes me a great caregiver is my genuinely love to help and be there. I don't work this field for a paycheck. I love working this field because its who I am. What attracted me to this position as a caregiver was my grandmother. I have always taken care of her and it always made her happy. I never treated her or any of my patients as work. I genuinely loved them all and cared and treated them and looked at them as my extended family. I've started with helping my grandmother as a little girl such as brushing her hair on a daily, picking out her clothes, to then giving her, her medications. I cared for several other family members until I decided to then move on to working in a doctor's office as a medical/billing assistant which included me rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting the doctor's, submitting billing, and most importantly building friendly and trusting relationships.
