Since I was a child, I've loved helping other people. I enjoy working with people of all ages and circumstances. What excites me most about this position is the opportunity to help those with disabilities live happier, healthier lives. I think helping other people affects the local community positively, so I'd feel honored to accept such a vital role. I'm interested in being a caregiver because I'd like to increase the amount of care the elderly population receives. As I learned through my previous health care experience, this population often benefits from caregivers who provide companionship and who pay attention to detail. My name is Arlette, My journey working with seniors started when I cared for my grandmother when she needed the help about 10 years ago. After that I noticed I enjoyed caring for the elderly and spending time with them. I love listening to their stories and learning from their experiences. I see them and treat them as my family. I like to help them get the best quality of life under their circumstances. I feel a sense of accomplishment every time it's time for me to leave their house and they have a smile on their faces. That lets me know they are happy and feel safe under my care. I have worked with people suffering from different illness like: Alzheimer's and dementia, cancer, hospice, C Diff. I like to have a good and close relationship with my client's families and work together with them. I can provide letters of recommendation if they are needed.

I like to be useful to others that I serve. I enjoy assisting all different types of people, I am very patient and I love what I do. I am also trustworthy and reliable.

I am a caregiver with more than 10 years of experience. I have had experience working for clients that suffer from Dementia, Alzheimers, Parkinson's, Stroke and Bedridden. Assisting them in their activities of daily living. I try to give the best of me to all of my patients with love, patience and care.

I've been a caregiver for 35 yrs. I started in this field when I was just 17. I love what I do. I come from a medical family and decided at a very young age that I wanted to be a doctor or nurse. I specialize in geriatric dementia and Alzheimers care. Every client needs to know they're truly cared for on every level with love, patience, and kindness. I enjoy learning from them ... they often have amazing histories, stories and lessons to share.I'm often with my clients for the duration of their lives.

Outside of raising six children, I've been a care giver for 26 years. I worked in children's ministry at a church four times a week for 18 years. I took care of my dad when he was dying from cancer. I served my Neighbor meals twice a day for several years. When he came down with cancer, his daughter hired me to take care of him while he was dying at the age of 96. In September 2019 I became companion caregiver to a 90 year-old man that has dementia. I really enjoy this type of work because I get to be part of giving a person a great quality life for him to enjoy! My number one priority is to keep him safe and healthy! I take him to museums, back Bay for a picnic/walks, park picnic/walk, and or a walk around the neighborhood. I stimulate his mind with crossword puzzles, we play together because sometimes he can get lost in the puzzle. Or sometimes we play cards. I encourage and assist him in do his daily exercises because he lose track of what he's doing. My number one goal is to give a good quality life to senior citizens because they deserve it!

My name is Miracle, I'm an 18y/o African American women and my top priority as a caregiver is to make sure all of my clients are happy and comfortable. I try to understand & cope with them as much although I'm not in the same predicament as them I can only imagine what they are going through. I love being a caregiver because I love the elderly dearly. I enjoy knowing that my work will make others happy and I care for any client as if they were my own family. What drove me to be a caregiver is when i realized the need to serve and help others. This passion came when I lived with my grandmother who i loved dearly and as she aged i realized she needed care day by day. I automatically became a caregiver to her, a job I have come to love and perfect professionally.
