I started caregiver interview when I was 18 years old and loved it.

My name is Arlette, My journey working with seniors started when I cared for my grandmother when she needed the help about 10 years ago. After that I noticed I enjoyed caring for the elderly and spending time with them. I love listening to their stories and learning from their experiences. I see them and treat them as my family. I like to help them get the best quality of life under their circumstances. I feel a sense of accomplishment every time it's time for me to leave their house and they have a smile on their faces. That lets me know they are happy and feel safe under my care. I have worked with people suffering from different illness like: Alzheimer's and dementia, cancer, hospice, C Diff. I like to have a good and close relationship with my client's families and work together with them. I can provide letters of recommendation if they are needed.

I am a caregiver with more than 10 years of experience. I have had experience working for clients that suffer from Dementia, Alzheimers, Parkinson's, Stroke and Bedridden. Assisting them in their activities of daily living. I try to give the best of me to all of my patients with love, patience and care.

I've been a caregiver for 35 yrs. I started in this field when I was just 17. I love what I do. I come from a medical family and decided at a very young age that I wanted to be a doctor or nurse. I specialize in geriatric dementia and Alzheimers care. Every client needs to know they're truly cared for on every level with love, patience, and kindness. I enjoy learning from them ... they often have amazing histories, stories and lessons to share.I'm often with my clients for the duration of their lives.

I am a very compassionate person I try to have humor to make any situation a little bit better when necessary, I love being present so that I know from beginning to end what is going on and what needs to take place, I consider myself to be very detailed oriented and is willing to set boundaries for the safety of my clients and others around. I love being a caregiver because I enjoy spending time with my elders and making them feel comfortable and safe at all times. I enjoy most about providing care to the seniors is that I have the advantage of making that person feel loved safe and while again, I am proud to actually say I have made a difference in homes with their elder families and created a trust line Between the clients and myself were that person feels they can be themselves yet Still feel cared for to the best of my ability.

I have been a caregiver for over 17 yrs. I Have worked with wonderful people whom I still keep in touch with some of the families. What made this work so amazing and worth all the long hours and hard work is the bond you create with every Patient and their families. There are sad moments when the job is over but the memories stay in your heart for ever and sometimes we are just lucky enough to keep a nice relationship with the families of the patients we have taken care of. Through every job I have learned more skills I can bring forward to future assignments. Life is always a learning step.

First, I love the elderly very much, and that stems from my long-term care for my father before he passed away. I worked a lot with dementia. I love sitting with them and helping them enjoy each new day with lots of activities and games. They need a kind heart and I think I have this.

I am very compassionate, patient, caring very positive, reliable I give a 100% of myself, I have a huge heart. I've always been a caregiver as a young girl always taking care of everybody I've been blessed with what it takes, I love making people happy and making them feel whole. I enjoy knowing I made a difference in there life I appreciate it My personal achievement is knowing that I was able to be with them and made there last part of there life comfortable and enjoyable. Sept 15,2021 I was blessed with taking care of my client he's 85yrs old I've been taking care of him for 1yr 3 1/2 weeks he has been put in a nursing home because he needs 24hr care with the help of machines, I've enjoy taking care of Fabian and listening to all of stories from the Philippines. I have opening for any time after 3pm I do overnights, 1 of my Lady's will be moving to Dana Point with her daughter I've been taking care of her since her husband passed Nov 15 2022, her dementia was interfering with her every day life.
