I have two years of medical school and has a passion for caring the elderly .I am compassionate, highly dedicated , trustworthy and amiable,someone who would walk extra miles for the well-being of my client .I have presence of mind when crises arise and able to handle stress with extreme care.Through my education and work experience , I have broadened my knowledge in caring for the elderly , sick and homebound .

I'm a very patient and compassionate caregiver. As someone who was a caregiver to my own mother; I know how it feels to find the right caregiver. I am a loving person with lots of room for growing and learning I have about 3/12 years experience What attracted me to being a caregiver is my dad was once in hospice and helping him and being there for him was something I did everyday and when he passed I was still in high school and by the time is was looking for a job it was something I wanted to continue doing and caring for others what I love the most is getting to know them and care for there needs and communicating talking about there pass some stories they might have.

At that moment, I am the only person in the world who knows how to best take care of my parents. I know their medical needs, their day-to-day care routine, their little habits, and what they like and don't like. I am qualified to be their caregiver and I am giving them the best care and attention they deserve. I hope that what I tell myself is something that you tell yourself also. I didn't feel prepared when I first became a caregiver, but with the support of my family, doctors, and social workers I made it through. Being a caregiver to my parents as they age has been so rewarding and I am proud of my role. I love being a caregiver.

I am a caring individual with approximately six years of direct patient care and emergency medical care experience. I am attracted to being a caregiver due to wanting to care for people and furthering my career in the field I want to work in. Devoting most of my time to the care of someone else is one of the most selfless things someone can do, but it's not only about the time involved. Being able to understand the person you're caring for, knowing their problems, challenges and desires will not only make it easier to care for them, but will undoubtedly improve the relationship you have with each other. Empathy is a big aspect of that, and being able to put yourself in someone else's shoes and be empathetic will only increase the quality of care you're providing.As instrumental as caregivers are, communication is key. It can be something as simple as going through the day's schedule, or complicated as discussing health concerns, but no matter what it is, it must be done well. Subpar communication will do nothing beneficial for the relationship, and in fact, could damage it. Furthermore, as it's likely there's more than one caregiver in the individual's life, and because of all the moving parts, communication is key to get information to all the relevant parties. Whether it's relaying health information or just remaining congenial, communication between caregivers is important, second only to communicating with the individual.

I feel like caregiving was something I was born to do. I really enjoy to get to know new people and help them with the tasks they need help with. I find satisfaction in caregiving as a job because it is such a rewarding feeling. I was raised to always be loving and caring of others. I have worked with Individuals that display outburst behavior. I have been working with individuals that are mentally disabled for 11 years and that has taught me to be patient and kind. Being able to help families that need help really makes me feel like I'm doing a job that is really important and makes me want to always do the best job I can do.
