I am a great caregiver because I will treat each person I care for with dignity, respect and kindness. I am responsible and dedicated to this line of work. I will help with maintaining a clean and comfortable as well as safe environment. I try to improve quality of life through adaptive progressive strategies. what attracted me to become a caregiver was helping to care for my grandmother and my mother, it made me feel good to be able to help them. What I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is bringing a smile on my clients face. A personal achievement I have is seeing a client get better after I care for them.

I am compassionate and attentive to my clients. I do thorough job. The safety of my clients come first. I listen to them and hold conversation with them even when they don't make sense in the case of dementia. I'm observant and prompt on my job. I have worked as a CNA for more than 10 years. I have worked in the hospital, nursing homes and homes although my CNA license expired. I am also registered in the California State Registry for home care giver. I'm also in the data base as a CNA in the state of California but expired license.

Unfortunately, when I was younger, my family was in a car accident and one of my family members were killed. Since then I have always said I wanted to be a nurse to take care of people. I like to see people getting the help they need. Eventually I became a nurse (LVN).

I enjoy being a caregiver because I enjoy making a difference in someone else life. I been a Certified Nurse Assistant since 2002 and I believe I have gained the skills necessary to help perform my job. I am hardworking and a compassionate person.

Hello! I am 24 years old I have been a CNA since 2020, during COVID I decided to get my CNA because I wanted to start my career in Nursing and help families who struggle with caring for their loved ones. I love what I do! I am in school working towards getting a RN degree hopefully to be finished by 2025! I am a foodie, I love to cook new dishes and try new foods. Devoting most of my time to the care of someone else is one of the most selfless things someone can do, but it's not only about the time involved. Being able to understand the person you're caring for, knowing their problems, challenges and desires will not only make it easier to care for them, but will undoubtedly improve the relationship you have with each other. Empathy is a big aspect of that, and being able to put yourself in someone else's shoes and be empathetic will only increase the quality of care you're providing.As instrumental as caregivers are, communication is key. It can be something as simple as going through the day's schedule, or complicated as discussing health concerns, but no matter what it is, it must be done well. Subpar communication will do nothing beneficial for the relationship, and in fact, could damage it. Furthermore, as it's likely there's more than one caregiver in the individual's life, and because of all the moving parts, communication is key to get information to all the relevant parties. Whether it's relaying health information or just remaining congenial, communication between caregivers is important, second only to communicating with the individual.

I'm 42yrs old I been caregiving for over 10 yrs I live in clovis single no kids I've worked in group homes assisted living at peoples homes done adult day programs I also did non-emergency medical transportation I've done it all.
