I have two years of medical school and has a passion for caring the elderly .I am compassionate, highly dedicated , trustworthy and amiable,someone who would walk extra miles for the well-being of my client .I have presence of mind when crises arise and able to handle stress with extreme care.Through my education and work experience , I have broadened my knowledge in caring for the elderly , sick and homebound .

Devoting most of my time to the care of someone else is one of the most selfless things someone can do, but it's not only about the time involved. Being able to understand the person you're caring for, knowing their problems, challenges and desires will not only make it easier to care for them, but will undoubtedly improve the relationship you have with each other. Empathy is a big aspect of that, and being able to put yourself in someone else's shoes and be empathetic will only increase the quality of care you're providing.As instrumental as caregivers are, communication is key. It can be something as simple as going through the day's schedule, or complicated as discussing health concerns, but no matter what it is, it must be done well. Subpar communication will do nothing beneficial for the relationship, and in fact, could damage it. Furthermore, as it's likely there's more than one caregiver in the individual's life, and because of all the moving parts, communication is key to get information to all the relevant parties. Whether it's relaying health information or just remaining congenial, communication between caregivers is important, second only to communicating with the individual.

I have such a caring heart , I love helping other people as much as I can . What attracted me to being a caregiver is that I wanted to help people who aren't able to help themselves. What I enjoy about caregiving is being able to help people with whatever they need and making them feel like they're not alone . One achievement that I'm proud of is graduating ahead of my class in 2019

I have worked in a skilled nursing home for over 10 years working as a CNA as well as a medication aide. I've worked at the heart group for over a year in a cardiologist office. My attraction came from nursing being in my family background I helped my parents and grandparents take care of their parents . Giving back to those who gave us everything we have today Putting myself through medication aide school and medical assistant school working all while raising two boys who graduated highschool and joined the Marines. But the greatest achievement that I'm most proud of is becoming a grandmother.

I double check that my client has the proper medication doses before the client takes the medications. I make sure my client is clean and comfortable. I prepare healthy meals for my clients. I enjoy helping people by being pleasant and positive through out the day. I enjoy seeing the health improvement after a few weeks of helping a client. By helping the client make good choices of nutrient intake.
