I am proud to say that being a caregiver, i became a very very understanding person dealing with clients. I developed a close bond to my clients, spending time with them listening to their stories. I give them respect and dignity. To be able to bring some sunshine and smiles and laughter to my clients is already a big achievement to me. I worked with clients with dementia, COPD. My job includes help with medication, bathing/grooming, meal preparation, light housekeeping, run errands. I am registered with HomeCare Aide of California, CPR registered and a CNA.

I became a caregiver because I had a family member when I was a teenager that I took care of. I liked the look on their face when they realized that someone was there for them. I am proud to say that I have been a care giver for over 26 years now. I am a compassionate person who takes helping people seriously. I have been fingerprinted and have had a background ckeck through the State of Arizona.

I love caring for the elderly, being able to assist or care for someone helping to make a difference in someone's life is a very rewarding job. I have always been passionate about helping others and this has proven to be the most rewarding of all. I have many years experience caring for the elderly and mentally and physically disabled I'm good at what i do and i love making people smile.I've been told I'm a people pleaser on a positive note. It is in my nature to be a caregiver. I worked in a nursing home at age 16 . Over the course of my life I have taken care of several elderly or ill family members or patients in nursing homes . I have experience with home hospice care as I took care of my mother and father in law who both had cancer and were home during hospice. I managed ordering medical equipment , medications and facilitated making schedules and medicine regiments. To present day, I have worked for the school district (38 years) I have worked with severely disabled , Autism , Down's Syndrom, Ms , and more. Familiar with Dementia and elderly . I am a 58 year old mother of Twins who turned 24 this April. Both children live out on their own and have made me a grandmother . My son works for Kaiser call center and my daughter works at Walmart . My husband and I were both born and raised here in San Diego and reside in Lakeside nearest to Santee. My husband works as a truck driver delivering dry wall. I work in Special Education at a middle school. I love people , children and animals. I also run a small cleaning business for private homes . I have many people who can provide references to my character and skills. I pride myself in being responsible , trust worthy , punctual and caring . I love helping others.

I'm 57 years old and I'm very attentive, responsible, and caring. I love what I do. I cook, clean, bath, assist with bathroom needs, medications, exercising, anything that your loved one needs. I'm very easy going and open to negotiate wages.

I became a caregiver because: I enjoy working with people and being a companion to them making them happy and I don't like them to feel lonely and confused or hurt. I took care of my grandmother and my moms best friend and it was sad but I did my best and seen them happy till their last day. I like about being a caregiver: I can help people that cant help themselves. My personal achievement that I am proud: I have succeeded each and every goal that I have made for myself in my life. It has gotten me where I am today personally and professionally. I have worked in the field caring of clients in the hospitals and at their homes and privet home. I enjoy being a companion going for walks, church or taking them swimming, grocery shopping and Doctors appointments knowing that they can trust me is a great gift to me and seeing them happy on a daily base. I also cook and enjoy it a lot , sow, and crochet. my mom is a great person whom taught me a lot. I am very outgoing, a people person trustworthy and dependable. I have the experience at Alvarado hospital, API, Vibra Hospital, Mercy hospital and UCSD. Magnolia senior care facility taking care of patients and transporting them to special Facilities and Clinics for appointments and therapist. I would like a full time care job . I have all so accomplished 20 as a security officer.

I'm a very caring and loving person, I think of how I would like to be cared for if and when the time comes and feel if you or a loved one needs care it should be the very best. I am reliable, honest, and have loved all my clients.

I love helping people. Last year I retired from a 17 year career working with learning disabled childern. I took a month off and started working for a caregiving agency. In that position I went into elderly people's homes and cared for them. Duties included, taking them to Dr. appointments, grocery shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, preparing meals and medicine management. In August 2018 I started caring for a 103 yr old women. These duties were a little different she is bedridden and on hospice. These duties include, feeding, changing, bathing and companionship. I have experience with dementia and alzheimer care. I enjoy being a caregiver because it gives me joy and a purpose. The personal achievement I am most proud of is my family. My husband of 30 years, my son and daughter.

Hello, my name is Kendra and I am currently working as a caregiver. What makes me a great caregiver is that I am very patient and have a passion for helping others. I became a caregiver because I am currently in college working towards my associates degree in nursing, so this is a job I can enjoy while completing that.
