Hello my name is Jazzmine Berry, and I have been in the caretaking field for a little over 4 years. What attracted me to being a caregiver is my unconditional love for people especially the elders! I had my own daycare for 20 years. I been taking care of children since my first brother was born when I was 6. Other people's children at age 13, newborn and a 12-year-olds. I am a loving mother to 4 children, one of which is a Leukemia survivor. I have 3 years oncology care experience, I am trained in alzheimers/dementia care, I absolutely love working with seniors and see my clients as a part of my own family. After caring for my daughter, I began caring for my husband's grandmother, which I loved! Then began working with assisted living facilities and as an in home health aide. I enjoy learning all about my clients, assisting in their daily activities, and nothing means more to me than bringing a smile to their faces.

I began my healthcare career after being told by my sons' doctors and nurses, "you should go to school for nursing!" I have been working as a Certified Nursing Assistant for eight years in home health and long-term care facilities. I provide non-emergency medical transportation for doctor's appointments, dialysis, chemotherapy, surgeries and hospital discharge.

Hi my name is Monica. I have been in the healthcare profession for 13+ years in an office environment. Three years ago my father-in-law became very ill and began developing dementia, at the same time my mother-in-law had just gone through hip surgery. I began staying with them nightly and maintained my daily job. Neither of them had any desire to go into any type of nursing home with strangers tending to them. They were very hesitant as well, to have anyone coming into the home. It was during this time I developed a strong desire to help and take care of them to the best of my ability. I took care of my father-in-law while my mother-in-law recovered from surgery, and held his hand until he took his last breath. I am a natural nurturer and it gives me great joy and satisfaction to take care of someone who cannot take care of themselves alone and are often very reluctant to be cared for outside of their home. I am a very passionate and patient person, and I have a zest for life, as it is so precious and not promised. My children are grown and out on their own now and I lost my husband suddenly in 2014. My desire is to leave an unfulfilling job and begin a rewarding career that will satisfy my heart and soul. Everyone needs a little sunshine, I always have a little in my pocket to sprinkle as needed.
