Hi! My name is Kaliyah and some traits about me that help me to be a great caregiver is my ability to be understanding, compassionate, and a great communicator. My personal experience being a caregiver to my loved ones also adds to this. What attracted me to being a caregiver is wanting to help those who need it most. I have seen first hand and experienced what it's like to not be physically and mentally able to do for yourself and a little bit of help from a helping hand goes a long way. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is giving those in need back their sense of independence because as you grow in life it's important to hold on to that. A personal achievement I am proud of is obtaining my CPR/AED/First-Aid certification.

Hello my name is Helena and I would like to tell you a little bit about myself I'm a mother of 3, grandmother of 22 and a great-grandmother of 2, at the young age of 31 my mother had a stroke, she lived in Chattanooga Tennessee at the time and I went and got my mother, move her in with me and my family and took care of her that's when I gained the love of being a caretaker, providing care to those who can't take care of themselves became a passion however at that time I could not make that a full-time obligation, now that my children are grown and I'm older I can dedicate most of my time on what I really like to do, helping people enjoy the quality of life that they deserve. I'm a people person, I'm very empathetic, loving, kind, compassionate, an excellent companion and very attentive, I believe in your senior years those are your best years and you should be spoiled and taken care of with dignity and respect after all you've earned it, it's your right and it's our responsibility to provide just that. I also know that there are times when age isn't a factor, you may have had an injury, may have a medical disorder and you need someone to be there to make sure that everything is okay, it helps with the healing process, people need people, people need people who care and I'm that person
