Hiy Name is Cathy I live in small town Called Wadley Georgia I have been taking care older people since I was little first I have started out withy grandmother then after she die I started doing home health then I became PRN I have a passion taking care of older people because was I get old I know some one have to do samething for me.

I was residential manager of two group homes all dealing with those who had special needs, intellectual developmental issues, and disabilities and I had a great time getting to know all 14 clients and learning from them. I transported, Med passed, cooked, cleaned, gave baths, assisted with dressing and it was an experience like no other. I enjoy the time I get to spend doing activities and making my clients laugh and feel comfortable. If gives me great joy that they know they are loved and cared for.

I have 10 years of extensive experience in home health care. I'm very dependable, trustworthy, and I'm very passionate about exceeding expectations. I enjoy being of assistance and have worked with clients from different aspects of life.

I became a caregiver to be able to help someone in need as well as putting a smile on their face at the end of the day. I started out with assisting the elderly at the age of twelve and the person I provided care for was my great grandmother. I like the sense of satisfaction, confidence, and accomplishment when caring for people in need along with building new relationships with the client and their families. A personal achievement that I am very proud of is being able to give back to other who are in need. On behalf of myself and my Criminal Justice Association members we did a clothing drive for the Salvation Army we held the drive from April 24-May 1, 2014 we were able to collect lots of clothing for all ages and for females and males along with other household items all for families in need. I am a Criminal Justice major at Strayer University, I belong to the American Criminal Justice Association and I am also the vice president. I am a very outgoing person, I pay very close attention to detail when caring for others. I have been in the nursing field off and on for about twelve years if not longer.

I treat people the way they want to be treated like family,try to make them comfortable in they home.I don't like seeing people being hurt by other people wouldn't want that to happen to nobody in my family ,so I try to treat people good .I like talking to my clients listening to the good old days on how they used to do this and that so that I can encourage them to let's do somethings that they like.Being a caregiver gave me the chance to be able to take care of my own mother in the time of needs and she deserves so that 's what I give to my clients.

Nothing more rewarding emotionally than seeing a smile on the client's and the families face! I've been a caregiver for over 20yrs and it started with my Mom as a CNA when I was a child and she got me into a Red Cross program that allowed me to help with the Elderly in the nursing home she worked in. I began to work as a caregiver at age 19yrs old until now age 41yrs old.

I have taken care off elderly people for 30years I started as a cna after a few years I started doing private care iam loving, caring honest I give %100 off my self to my patient's I keep the family informed off any changes iam also a wonderful cook I can cook anything and I can do it in a healthy way I talk to my patient's and I do spoil them because they deserve it I believe God has chosen that kind off work for me and I love what I do.
