I am a 37year old CNA and mother of three,I became a caregiver because I love helping others and caring for those who can't perform or need assistance with their daily activities. When I was a young girl my mother was diagnosed with MS and my siblings and I were responsible for helping her with her daily activities and from that moment forward I knew that was my calling. In the past I have taken care of several loved ones and others until they're last moment here and thats what I feel like I am here to do, its my passion. I love being able to make a difference in someone else's life and make them happy.

What make me a great care giver is the love and care I have for my patient. I love to bond with them so that I know exactly how they like everything so that I can meet their needs. As a Certified MedTech I have expertise in serving chronically ill patients by assisting them with Medication management, daily living activities and general household tasks, grooming and bathing assistance, house hold tasks, feeding assistance, I also have 1yr 8 month in healthcare Administration .As my resume states I have worked in the field and the skills that I gained are compassion, time management, effectiveness, patient focus, and provide reassurance to the client that I am willing and capable to assist and provide the most effective care and support.

Hello my name is Ravette Pickens im 35yrs old from Cincinnati ohio. I live in Douglas county . I am married with a 14yr old son and im the oldest of 7 so im pretty much use to being the person others depend on and leaning on me for support. I started out in the health field in 2008 working with the disabled people.. From the ages of 5 and up. I worked with people With autism I work with people with behavior issues, CP cervical, to people with diabetes cancer Strokes Alzheimer dementia I work with people with catheters G tubes pretty much all the above I love what I do I started out as just a support provider and now I'm a Certified nursing assistant, now currently state certified Patient Care Tech, I am currently in school for Radiology Tech. I definitely love my health career and plan on staying in this field for a while

I originally became a caregiver to make sure my mom was going to be well taken care of when she got a certain age. Some years ago my girlfriend got sick and needed assistance with someone who could help her with feeding, dressing, hair care and house cleaning. Not knowing what I know today back then, I was still able to fulfill that gap and enjoyed myself while doing it. What I like the most is the smile that I leave on my clients face daily. My personal achievement I am proud of is completing my certification. Not only am I able to take care of my friend and/or my mom when need be but I now know a lot more than I did when I started school. I am 56 years of age. I love my job in taking care of any one who may need my help. I have a warm heart. I complain of nothing or no one. I am a very hard worker. I come early and stay late. I love a challenge.
