A little about myself, I received my certified nursing assistant certification in the year 2000. In my years of experience. I have worked in the hospital setting in oncology, med surg, oorthopedic, and telemetry units. In the nursing home setting I have worked in med surg, dementia (locked and unlocked) units. As well as a facility for children with disabilities. For the last six years I have worked in a home care setting. My first Home Care client was an older gentleman on dialysis. I stayed with him less than a year, because he decided to stop dialysis and let nature take its course. He then became a hospice client. I stayed with him until the end of his life. And attended his viewing to pay my respects. I can provide his wife and daughters number for references. After he passed away I was hired for my recent lady Miss Maxine (God Rest her soul).A little about her, she was a diabetic female with advanced stage macular degeneration, early-stage dementia and limited Mobility. I helped manage her medication as well as her diet. Her son and I kept her insulin scale balanced. I was with her for 4 years, she passed away a few weeks ago.
