I have been a care giver pretty much since i had kids. My first born was breech with 2 dislocated hips, she was in a harness the first year of her life. She had her first hip surgery at 5 and her second at 16, my middle daughter is a 15 year ALL leukemia cancer survivor, and my youngest daughter had chairi. My mom was DX in 2016 with waldenstroms macroglobulinemia and I was her care giver for 2 years. I work in Internal medicine now and 90% of my patients are elderly and I just adore them. I listen to their stories and I have so much compassion for these fragile human beings. Caring for others the way I hope to be cared for one day is a passion of mine. I do work a full time job Monday- Friday so ideally evenings or weekends would work best for me.
