I am a God-fearing, responsible, caring, trust-worthy, motivated, well-spoken, energetic and personable caregiver. Who possesses an organizational with sound communicative and writing skill looking for a Caregiver position that would utilize my experience. I have a wide breadth of experience caring for the elderly in the comfort of their homes and also in nursing home facility which gives the versatility to place me in a number of contexts with confidence that the level of excellent care expected is met.

I have 30 years of experience in providing personal in-home care for disabled, cognitively impaired, chronically ill, and hospice patients. I assist patients with daily personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. I monitor patients' vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration. I am a thoughtful and considerate person who takes pride in providing the best care possible. I became a caregiver through the influence of my great aunt and grandmother as they were the neighborhood caregivers. I watched them as a child and knew I wanted to do the same thing. I began by taking care of my grandmother when she became home bound in her older age. For the past three years, I was the care taker for my mother after she suffered a stroke. The thing I enjoy the most is feeling a sense of joy and humility in assisting those in need in conducting their activities of daily living. They are so appreciative. I consider it a personal achievement when they recover and there is no further need of my services. That confirms that my work with them has improved their quality of life.

I became a certified nursing assistant in May of 2000. I have worked in many specialties in the healthcare field which consists of med-surg, telemetry,Icu,Brain and Injury, Rehab and Pacu. I also worked in Hospice, and home health for 15 years. I am currently working towards Nursing degree.

What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is it helps me greatly and gives me the courage to take care of my son who is autistic. I'm a good listener, I have patience, respect,empathy, and I will respect their privacy. What made me want to become a caregiver so I can make a great difference in someone's life. The smile on a client face when I'm helping makes me happy. A personal achievement I have is i have good reccomendations from past clients and my former care facility where I worked for nearly 20 years.

I've always been the compassionate person caring for other even when I was teenager. Come up watching my mother and grandmother as nurses and childcare provider it became natural to me. So when started high school I enroll in Nurseing program pass with excellent grades during I class hours we went to nursing home for hand on experience I then new this was what I liked doing. During summer break of school I work at local nursing home facility also had to attend monthly educational inservices were I learn the RESIDENTS RIGHTS,HIPPA, BIOHAZARD POLICY and INFECTION CONTROL .

I am a caregiver who likes to demonstrate empathy and compassion for senior. Supporting the patient's family members, who may be struggling to cope with their loved one's decline. I feel the desire to want to help as a caregiver will, I'll let the family and the patient know that I care about them. For instance, I will try to do what i can to help not because I have to, but because i want to, putting a smile on my patients face every is my goal making happy and feel loved .
