Hello! I care for seniors with dementias, autism etc. and individuals with physical disabilities and mental impairment by helping perform their daily activities such as; bathing, dressing, meal preparation, feeding, cleaning, medication management, and driving to doctor's appointments.

I am a great empathetic caregiver because I am very compassionate about my work. I have been working in healthcare for over 6 years now. I'm just a person who is always reaching out to help people. I wanted to join healthcare ever since I was a little girl because I inspired to be someone that is able to help someone in need. This is my passion & my gift I could not see me doing anything else in life this is what I'm dedicated to. I have 30 years of experience in providing personal in-home care for disabled, cognitively impaired, chronically ill, and hospice patients. I assist patients with daily personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. I monitor patients' vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration. I am a thoughtful and considerate person who takes pride in providing the best care possible. I became a caregiver through the influence of my great aunt and grandmother as they were the neighborhood caregivers. I watched them as a child and knew I wanted to do the same thing. I began by taking care of my grandmother when she became home bound in her older age. For the past three years, I was the care taker for my mother after she suffered a stroke. The thing I enjoy the most is feeling a sense of joy and humility in assisting those in need in conducting their activities of daily living. They are so appreciative. I consider it a personal achievement when they recover and there is no further need of my services. That confirms that my work with them has improved their quality of life.

Empathy and compassion are my core values. I always want to help, and I'm very patience especially when providing care. I enjoy doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. I'm proud to have inspired hope in many whom I have assisted.

I became a certified nursing assistant in May of 2000. I have worked in many specialties in the healthcare field which consists of med-surg, telemetry,Icu,Brain and Injury, Rehab and Pacu. I also worked in Hospice, and home health for 15 years. I am currently working towards Nursing degree.

My desire, compassion, empathy & motivation to improve the Client's quality of life, provide emotional support as well, enhance their overall well being on a daily basis. Got motivated on being a Caregiver with a sense of appreciation on the care to the elderly in relation to the care they offered to us irrespective of our appreciation to them . Making a difference in their life's, building good relationships, learning new experiences, stories & widening empathy, giving them a reason to smile in every new day & to realize that someone really cares about them.

Being there and having served elderly people has taught me to find positive value in life and giving generously of myself. I have also learned to stay calm and reassuring in emergency situations. I'm a very compassionate person and love taking good care of people. I always manage to make my clients smile by treating them like adults, paying them respect, and being very patient. Being a caregiver or a nurse assistant is not just a job; it is a passion. I have a CNA as well as med-tech, CPR, and First Aid training.

Compassion. I have a caring heart , I can keep the client energized through tough times, motivate the client in order to improve the quality of care I offer. Meeting personal care needs like dressing or using the bathroom, is very much my expertise. I know trusting your loved to a stranger, can be overwhelming, but know you have the right person, Who is patient, and understand that when the client feels embarrassed, frustrated or angry as they grow less able to manage their personal need, I am there to consider their perspective and bring them the satisfaction they so desire.
