Because I took care of my grandparents. I love to help elderly people and do for them like if their my own. And to become a nurse. I'm single with no kids , was certified for 15 years love my Job at tidepointe on Hilton head island. Been with the company for 9 years. Left there in 2017 for emergency. Did private care a client for 3 years. She pass away, then I started working at life care nursing home.

I became a caregiver because of my mother, At the age of 10 my mother died and I couldn't do nothing to help her. So I decided to get in the medical field for that reason. I love being a caregiver because it is a passion of mine to see people smile, and live there life to the fullest. Some of my achievements are attending school for certification, and also I am now enrolled in school for Health Information Systems and Business Administration. I chose this field because I want to make sure the patients get the treatment, respect, and etc they deserve. I want to see people that take care of these patients act professionally, and treat the patients like the way they (caregivers) would want to be treated. Everybody tells me I have a wonderful personality, and they can tell I care about the patients needs. I like to have fun, spending time with family. I am here to help. I was one of those kids that loved to watch the elderly commercials where they would need help reaching something , I've always wanted to be that person that could help , Bring them joy ... I enjoy being able to see my clients smile , Knowing I'm one of those people they can count on to make smile . My #1 personal achievement as of right now is my first big girl purchase , My first car .

Caregiving is in my heart, I have been taking care of people for over 27 years and I love it. I have a heart for people. My greatest achivement professionally is the ability to understand people and to help people in need, to understand words that aren't spoken, I currently work for a Hospice company for the last 6 years being a CNA is one of my greatest gifts.
