I became a caregiver because of my mother, At the age of 10 my mother died and I couldn't do nothing to help her. So I decided to get in the medical field for that reason. I love being a caregiver because it is a passion of mine to see people smile, and live there life to the fullest. Some of my achievements are attending school for certification, and also I am now enrolled in school for Health Information Systems and Business Administration. I chose this field because I want to make sure the patients get the treatment, respect, and etc they deserve. I love helping people, I understand how difficult it is to ask for help so being able to show someone it's ok to need help is something I pride myself in doing. I helped my great grandmother for 2 years as a caregiver and I'm proud to say I made a difference in her life and the quality of our family life.

Caregiving is in my heart, I have been taking care of people for over 27 years and I love it. I have a heart for people. My greatest achivement professionally is the ability to understand people and to help people in need, to understand words that aren't spoken, I currently work for a Hospice company for the last 6 years being a CNA is one of my greatest gifts. Why I became a caregiver my best friend passed away from HIV and I wanted to take care of people like they took care of her. I'm also a CHPNA Certified Hospice Palliative Care Nursing Assistant 2018

I am very easy-going, I get along with everybody. I am very OCD so it wouldn't be a problem for me to clean, I am 17 in two weeks. I had to grow up taking care of my sick grandmother, so I know how to handle that type of situation. I have transportation and I am free 24/7!

*What makes me a great caregiver; is I make sure we have a good time rather it's laughing, watching a good movie, talking, or walking. *What attracted me to healthcare; I want to be a pediatrician so in 10th grade I took up health science so I used CNA to move up the scale. *what I enjoy most; would be seeing the patient happy an having a good day laughing an talking. *A personal achievement; would have to be graduating an making it to my late 20's without kids.

About Me ......... I love doing what I do. I care about my residence / patients so much, everyone should have unconditional love with care regardless of a care plan. I have experience in hospice and more. When I work with a resident / patient I work as if I'm taking care of a family member! A good day for me will be changing someone's life by giving them the best care.

One thing that attracted me most about being a caregiver is the relief in the patients eyes to see that you really care about them rather then just another patient. The thing I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being a companion to a person who is in need. A few personal achievements I am very proud of is graduating high school and continuing my education to be a registered nurse.

Im very caring and compassionate, i love being able to help others. Ive cared for individuals young and old. Ive volunteered for hospice. I have also cared for my mother and brother who both had cancer until their passing. Im not sure if anyone would have to care for me one day. Prayerfully i will receive the same love and compassion that ive shown others.

I am the perfect person for the job because I am compassionate, patient, reliable, trustworthy and empathetic. I love helping people and it's just a natural calling of mine.
