What makes me a great caregiver is having a passion in helping others in any way I can. What I like about being a caregiver is being able to make a difference and an impact in someone's life. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is the ability to make someone else smile and simply being able to give them a hand in any possible way I may be able to. My personal achievement is to be able to make a difference in someone's life with whatever it is they may be struggling with. I was raised by my grandparents all the way up till high school. While living with them they instilled countless of values and morales. Which is why upon graduating with my B.S. from Houston Christian Univeristy, I returned home to look after them. Through them and my professional experience i've learned tremendous patience and how to properly address and handle any situation a care giver may experience. I was officially hired as my grandfathers provider through the VA when he reached 100% disability until his passing at 102. I have since worked for two other home care agencies, and have over 2 years of experience professionally. I am also sponsored by Project Arriba, while I complete a 2-year Echocardiography program at EPCC. I can say with confidence I am able to effectively and superbly perform any task as a caregiver and provide exceptional customer service.
