My name is Tracy Ann Johnson. I have prior experience as a luxury personal shopper /concierge for HNW and UHNW clients in NYC ; I am also a Certified Nursing Assistant and also have my Restorative Nursing Assistant certification. For circumstances dear to my heart, I chose to become a certified nursing assistant/care giver. My father developed Alzheimer's. In this position I am truly able to be of service to someone in need of a caring and compassionate person. This position has taught me a great deal of patience, empathy, and selflessness. In the process of caring for others, I learned how to provide personal care in a dignified manner. I am also able to assist the client in many aspects of their daily life; such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, ambulate from bed to wheelchair and vice versa when needed. Also providing recovery assistance after plastic surgery. Along with everything else, joyfully providing loving, entertaining companionship. I am considerate, kind, compassionate, caring, trustworthy, dedicated, patient and loyal. I also possess a charming wit and am a great pleasure to be around. I conduct myself with the utmost integrity. I find that to be most important in any relationship, work and personal. I am flexible and willing to travel. I am looking to match with a client who is artistic and appreciates a great sense of humor ! I also have BLS & CPR Certification.

I became a caregiver/CNA because I get great joy helping people. I have always as a child, helped people. Even if i couldn't do much I would try my hardest to do all that I could. Becoming a CNA was the best thing and the most accomplished move that I've done in my life. I have 20 years experience as a CNA and I am very observant with my patients and detect when there is a change in their behavior or health. I take my job very seriously and I put my heart in everything that I do for my patients.

I have so many personality traits or expertise that help me to be a great caregiver starting that I am a very fun-loving, caring individual, with, a great heart and treat people like my family, with, respect and dignity. I am also, very dedicated and very patient. Of the many things that attracted me of being a caregiver, is that I strive to make a difference in the people's lives and i simply want to help out the clients and their families who are seeking help. Of the many things I enjoy being a caregiver is that I enjoy putting smiling faces on people. I enjoy being there and lend a helping hand. One of my personal achievements that I am proud of is knowing that I can build people's trust in me to allow me to take care of them and to build relationships as if we we're like all a family, which, practically that is really who we are, all a family.

I have been a CNA for almost two years now. I really enjoy taking care of people and making their day. To me, that is the most rewarding part. The thing I love the most is feeling that connection you make with a person. Getting to know the person you are caring for is important because it makes them feel more comfortable. In my time of being a CNA, I have learned that it takes a lot of patience sometimes as well as passion. I believe that is something I have become an expert in in working with many residents. Communication and attentiveness are two other things it takes to be a good care taker. Those are skills I was able to work on as well when working in a nursing home. Because there are many residents to care for, you need to make sure you are able to communicate effetely with residents as well as making sure you are careful in what you are doing. Providing the best care possible is the uptime goal. The achievement I am most proud of is completing my first travel nursing contract. When working on a contract, I learned that you need to be able to jump in as well as handle stress in a faster paced environment. I loved my travel assignment and would love to continue to do that in the future. As for now, I would love to do home health/ hospice because I believe the one-on-one interactions are very important and would be a more meaningful experience.

Reason why I became a Caregiver is because of my grandmother, she was a great inspiration in my life and when she had trouble remembering things and she asks me a question repeatedly, I couldn't help myself but cried because I had no knowledge about what was going on with my grandmother, I was only 20 years old at that time I had to bathe her dress her and feed her as well. That experience really changed my life around in caring about the elderly population so I decided this is what I wanted to do, help the elderly get through their daily tasks and activities. Now as a CNA I have learned a lot from working in Nursing Facilities, Homecare Agencies, Adult Family Home & Assisted Living and all i have to say is that I love my job.
