Hello there! My name is Cecilia, and I am from the great state of Texas! I was born with a strong affection, empathy, and genuine interest in working with the old and senior populations! My story : I was raised for a short period of time by My great nana and uncle . When they became sick, they were moved into hospice care. I recall doing everything I could to brighten their spirits and provide them happiness and peace. But at those moments, I discovered my calling and purpose. Working with the elderly senior generation now has the same implications. Working with each family, I offer the same comfort, love, and peace. I find myself caring for this generation as if they were my own family. My goal with each family is to constantly provide light to each individuals I serve. I have a job that takes patience and a compassionate heart. Experience wise I've spent years in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, long-term care facilities, private homes, and one-on-one care, learning and practicing so many skills and equipment that I'm convinced I can assist you.

I have a lot of patience, watching my father go through moods caused by dementia and altzimers has helped me become more understanding and wanting to help people.

I became a part-time caregiver years ago when we discovered my dad had dementia in the 90s. I have always been a caregiver in my family . My background is in finance. Kids got to college and I decided I'd do what was in my heart! Love being a companion and helpful Guide when I'm needed in a shopping, cooking, housekeeping and overall balancing act for someone who just needs some assistance.

Born and raised here in Texas. Mother had me young so, my grandmother was my babysitter/ caregiver while mom and dad worked. I thought it was normal to always be around the elderly, at least It was to me. That's how and where my love for the elderly got started. It was planted, then later bloomed. While living abroad in Las Vegas, Nevada, 2014 Received the best training to be a PCA. learned about Caregiving, Trained in Hospice Care. - Assisting patients in bathing and dressing -Medication Reminder - Household assistance such as laundry, linens, housekeeping - Meal preparation - Shopping, transportation to and from - Companionship and assistance in enjoyment of daily life. I am absolutely willing and happy to help with respite care and or service. Because I understand that everyone in caregiving needs a break or just a little time alone to breathe. Hello! My name is Marilyn. I'm the type of Caregiver that is calm, polite, neat, and with structure. My hobbies have been drawing, reading, TV, and some socializing. I chose to be Caregiver because after I certified for Medical Assistant, I tried a few jobs in that role but they didn't work well with me. So I ended up working as a Caregiver because I thought the role seemed easier to do than as a Medical Assistant. If I had enough time to certify as Nurse Assistant, I'd look forward to doing that someday. My greatest attractions as a Caregiver is having a Senior count on me for the sake of his/her well-being and building relationships. My personal achievement is to still have a job and have a life of my own right now.

I am currently a stay at home mom looking to get back into the caretaking world. I was raised taking care of my quadriplegic aunt up until 2013. Since then, I was a care taker for 2 years for 2 elderly men. Being a caretaker, I would say, is a calling for me. I enjoy helping others feel loved and cared for and I hope I can continue doing so for other families in the future.

Lost a Aunt to breast cancer and she didn't get the best care . So I treat everyone as if they were my loved one .
