Hello my name is Olivia. I love what I from cooking to baking taking walks for exercise with the clients. Born and raised here in Texas. Mother had me young so, my grandmother was my babysitter/ caregiver while mom and dad worked. I thought it was normal to always be around the elderly, at least It was to me. That's how and where my love for the elderly got started. It was planted, then later bloomed. While living abroad in Las Vegas, Nevada, 2014 Received the best training to be a PCA. learned about Caregiving, Trained in Hospice Care. - Assisting patients in bathing and dressing -Medication Reminder - Household assistance such as laundry, linens, housekeeping - Meal preparation - Shopping, transportation to and from - Companionship and assistance in enjoyment of daily life. After working 6 years as a Physical Therapy Assistant,decided to move to Texas.After working differents jobs,I started feeling unhappy.Decided to start working as a caregiver to be able to help others. I am a person that is very caring,empathetic,hardworking and reliable.I also love and enjoy helping others.

My personality traits that make me a great caregiver are that I am kind, understanding, and patient. My attraction to caregiving is being able to help someone who can not help themself. The thing I enjoy most about caregiving is that I'm able to to feel better about what I've done and who I am and get paid for it. Oddly enough my greatest personal achievement has not come to pass. I'm working on it every single day--I'm always striving to be a better me.
