I have always longed to help out people since childhood especially the elderly. Just reminding myself that they were once able to do everything by themselves ,drives me to wholeheartedly help them out in their activities of daily living. I want to see them live a better life than I found them . Always living a smile on their faces , bringing back hope of living in their hearts. My personality of being loving, caring , passionate and servanthood spirit are the driving forces which led me to this profession. One of my personal achievements is the fact that I have been able as a CNA to professionally and successfully work in an Assisted living facility on patients with dementia, alzeimers, combative behaviors etc.

I became a caregiver since 1993 when I graduated from a Teachers Training College back in my country Cameroon and started teaching in a kindergarten and middle school respectively for 12 years before travelling to the USA in 2006. I became a caregiver because I have the passion of taking care of children and adults alike. I am a very compassionate person with a flexible, friendly and patient character. I love making people happy and comfortable wherever I am. Being a caregiver has made me learn a lot about life and the way different people behave and interact with others. If I am in an environment that does not need noise I am comfortable, if in another that is noisy I am still comfortable. Have learnt to adapt and move according to what environment I find myself with love and care as much as I can give. I have worked with many people with dementia, diabetes, high blood pressure, stroke etc. I did my best to care for them, tolerating and being patient. So I achieved patience and tolerance which is still helping me now when I have to give care.

I am a Virginian Licensed HHA and a 120 hours certification of Nursing Assistant education and current PPD on the last 12 months, X - Ray test in the last 5 years. Since I join to work with my agency, I have been assigned to one 81 years old Alzheimer lady on a full time basis, I am proud of still working on the same place and agency above one year and 4 months. Certified Med Tech, Bond Insured. I am a very dependable, trustworthy, honest, energetic patient and caring person. I get great satisfaction out of helping others. I love to cook base of the client nutrition (diet etc). And I do not have any problems doing some light housekeeping and help with PT and OT exercise. I am comfortable with a puppy's dog. I am not comfortable with big dog and a cat (allergies).
