\"My passion for caretaking came when my grand dad was left under my care and I took care of him until he passed away. Since then, I have been taking care of loved ones until they've sadly departed. All of my experience has been hands-on and I can assist in all aspects of home care from companionship to bathing/dressing, to meal preparation. I can also assist in managing doctor visits and ensuring that doctors stay coordinated. I am a certified CNA / LPN With the Maryland Board of Nursing and also certified in First Aid, CPR and AEDs for adults and children. My hobbies are reading and spending time with family, time permitting. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is it helps me greatly and gives me the courage to take care of my son who is autistic. I've always been the compassionate person caring for other even when I was teenager. Come up watching my mother and grandmother as nurses and childcare provider it became natural to me. So when started high school I enroll in Nurseing program pass with excellent grades during I class hours we went to nursing home for hand on experience I then new this was what I liked doing. During summer break of school I work at local nursing home facility also had to attend monthly educational inservices were I learn the RESIDENTS RIGHTS,HIPPA, BIOHAZARD POLICY and INFECTION CONTROL .
