Iam a caring caregiver and I do have compassion for the elderly. What attracted me to being a caregiver I enjoying helping people I have worked as a CNA for 5 years. I also had to take care of my mother for awhile. My personal achievement that I was proud of I was glad that I took the CNA course I learned so much with hands on and real situations working with elderly clients

I became a caregiver because my mother had entered into the medical field as I was growing up and listening to her talk about how she enjoys helping others. I decided that I should give it a try when it was my time to choose a profession. Once I got into the field at nineteen years old, I fell in love with being a caregiver and I have since then within my seven years of experience prided myself on making sure I give the best care to each and every patient I've had the pleasure to care for. What makes me a good caregiver is that I go above and beyond to please the patients I am caring for and I do my absolute best to make them feel comfortable as well as just enjoying being a wonderful companionship. Being a caregiver for me is rewarding to know when I've put a smile on each persons face and family by just coming in with the willingness to meet their expectations. I am proud knowing that I've been able to see each person through while making every day as pleasant as possible while in their need of care.

I take my job seriously and go above and beyond, I love the elderly especially I learn from their wisdom, I have a history of family members that are nurses, I like giving one on one time and my most highest achievement is adding being a phlebotomist to my resume. I'm dependable and flexible, I cook clean bathe meds laundry yard work doctors appt vitals and so much more. I like being a part of the extended family of my patient. Been a cna for 3 decades and I love my career. I have references. I have current cpr ppd test, background check, drug test, I have a current cna license. I have no children and 5 dogs!

I enjoy being a caregiver , it is a such good field to work on specially when you are trying to become a nurse in future. I love to comfort people to be there for them when need me.

I am good at my job.. It shows in the care I provide for the patient, and how they interact and respond to me as well. I love helping people in anyway I can. God has placed a genuine desire in me; it does my heart good to know that the care given is making a difference in someone's life. Knowing that someone has a need and you have the ability as well as the skills to help them is awesome to me. I'm proud of being able to put a smile on someone's face, I'm proud of helping someone wether it's helping them feel better about themselves like assisting with: walking, going to the bathroom, bathing, or just having a ear to listen. I consider all of these things to be personal achievements.

I became a State Tested Nurses Assistant in 2015 back when i still lived in Ohio full-time. Since then I have worked in two nursing homes and worked for a home health agency, where I aided the residents/clients in their activities of daily living. What I love most about being an Aide is getting to know my clients/residents and hearing about their life story. I love being able to provide care to people who can not be fully independent so that they are able to stay in their family's residents longer. Recently, the state of Virginia recognized my Ohio state certification as a nurse aide.

There's nothing like the smile on the face of our elderly ones when they know you really care about them. That's my goal. I really enjoy personal home care since I know my clients are getting all the care and attention they need and deserve. I understand how dementia and Alzheimer's changes a person's personality and attitude and I have all the patience needed to work with these ones. I've always managed to get even the advanced patients to do what's need. A little kindness and distraction goes a long way. I hope I can help someone else smile again

I'm grateful to be a caregiver! especially thankful to those who trust me enough to care for their a love one. I have dedicated my time thirteen years now in this field. I wouldn't change it for the world. It brings joy helping others, I use to only want this career to only follow in my family's foot steps. I see now it's for the love, and passion, the joy of helping those who are in need. I pray one day someone will feel the same about me. Im outgoing, compassionate. Patient, and very understanding. I have many many skills I have developed over the years, Hospice, Feeding Tube, Dementia, sundowners, and etc...

To be a caregiver means that you understand good health, treatment, respect, and affection. I believe I received my caring abilities from my parents, and grandparents. I believe I was blessed and very fortunate to be raised and shown how to respect my peers, and elders as well. Respect their views, opinions, and accepting them knowing that everyone is different. Being taught how to love or give care to someone was easy for me. Now I am doing what i've essentially always known to do. It's in my blood!

I have been a CNA since 2013 and also carry my CPR certification. I work in homes and Facilities to take care of patients. I have many references and currently have patience in their homes that I assist with their daily needs doctors appointments errands and anything else they are in need of assistance with. I absolutely love what I do and to make people smile. I havr a valid drivers liscense and my own transportation
