I enjoy helping and taking care of people who need it. I love listening to the wisdom of my elders! I also just love bringing happiness and some sunshine into someone's life! I have been a Medical Assistant for 28 years, for 18 of those years I worked in 2 different Urology offices, 5 working in an ENT and Allergy office. I am currently working in a Family Practice office. I have enjoyed working in each office and established a great rapport with the majority of the patients I have encountered, as well as there respect and gratitude. I also worked in Home Health for a brief period. One of my clients hired me to continue taking care of her mother, which was extremely gratifying to know she was so pleased with the care I provided and trusted me to continue taking care of her mother.

Later I was informed of a opening in the area of caring for those with Intellectual Disabilities in a work setting. After getting the job I remained employed with the company for 26 years. What makes me a great caregiver I'm a very compassionate person and I put myself or my parents in their place. How would I want someone to care for my family. Why did I become a caregiver I became a caregiver because at the age of 16yrs old I cared for my ill grandmother before her passing she went blind and from there I always said that I wanted to help those that can't help themselves. What is a personal achievement that I'm proud of. I'm proud of being that someone that never gave up I put myself through college as a single parent of three earning my associates degree as a certified registered medical assistant graduating cum laude and I also did private duty nursing for over fifteen years.
