Caregiving has been a rewarding experience because I get to know clients while making a positive impact in their lives . First I have been doing this for eight years as I said before I have worked in the Adult family home wish you know you have to do everything breakfast lunch and dinner shower grooming dress and also assistant living and also hospice center. I know for sure what I wanted to do in life taking care of babies are adults no I'm working at a space Center wish I love my job so much. Working at adult family home you have to be patient and re-approach be gentle and kind also the assistant living it's the same thing you just got a re-approach them be gentle be patient as I always say is the little things that counts and matters I'm not perfect everyone to make mistakes but I try my best to learn from them and you're never too old to learn more I remember I was at work one One of my patient was laying down and they have a visitor and I was trying to feed him something he turned to me and said I appreciate this so much because he was not taking anything before and look he is taking a few bites that made me feel so good so I feel like I'm doing something.

Before I thought that I was a really patient person because I used to take care of my love ones,friends, neighbors,etc even when they've shown bad actitudes or behaviors or situations that you really need to understand , love , and accepts and be able to just offer them your help. But I realized that is not just patience what i need , is also compassion, and consciousness that we all need each other's as a human being. I think this is the most important part for being a great caregiver . When I discovered that ,I deside to become a caregiver ,and I love to be part of all this wonderful ladies, and gentlemen life's that I have been able to work with. I feel so blessed after so many years helping getting all the knowledges ,wisdom ,kindness,and so much love ,etc from them. I moved in from California six years ago and I still feel heartbreaking from my clients that I left back there but I have been in touch with all of them and that make me feel better, I have some references from all my clients and the agencies that I've been working with from California and now from my clients here in Shoreline,Seattle and Edmonds area that I've had the privilege to work with. I am a Certified Nurse Assistant with 8 years experience working in different healthcare facilities. My CPR and First aid cards are current and l have a valid TB test results which is negative. I love being a caregiver because l love being in a helping profession. I cared for my grandmother and it was a joy to have been able to care for her. I'm a CNA who has been caring for seniors over the past 14 years in conjunction with other caregivers in their private homes. I assisted with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, medication reminders, maintaining adequate groceries in the house through the family. I engaged in daily activities, including organizing mail, managing appointments, and exercising. I provided daily transferring of the patient from bed to wheelchair, to recliner and walking around the house and assisted with exercise programs. I enjoy working with Seniors so that they can live in their homes as long as possible and so that their family members can have peace of mind.
