My name is Adrianna but you can call me Addy if that's easier to remember. I am 21 years old and live in Spottsville, KY. I'm a very calm and collected person and I enjoy helping others. I was first drawn to being a caregiver when my grandmother was ill and I had to step up and care for her. Being a caregiver isn't easy and back then I didn't get a break. Now that I've become a professional caregiver I take pride in allowing families to have a break from being in that role as well as giving my client someone new to talk to and trust. The most rewarding part about being a caregiver for me is being one of the people aiding in someone's recovery, or knowing I have been part in making someone's last month's bearable and enjoyable. I've been a caregiver for 5 years started off working at rescare where i worked in group homes supportive living sites and day programs. What i loved most about being a caregiver is the fact i'm able to make someone smile everyday knowing that i play apart in someone's day going better makes my day better. I love taking my clients out into the community i love crafts and doing different activities. I also would help prepare my clients meals which i'd say they love i'm a pretty good cook if i may say so myself. I then left rescare after 3 years worked at easterseals at their day program due to covid i had stopped working there. Then worked at Compass residential where i've worked as a caregiver and a supervisor is my current job now. Id say i'm proud of myself for not giving up some days are harder than other but i continue to keep pushing because i jobs love what i do.
