I have known since I was young what i wanted to do in life. I wanted to be a Mom, wife and I wanted to care for others. When I got my first job as a caregiver I knew I was right where I belonged. Its physically and mentally challenging on a loved one to always have to do everything and especially if their not trained or knowledgeable about what they need to do. Its honestly a full time job. Most importantly I listen and talk with them. If they cant I will play music or read to them. I will bath them and change them if they are incontinent. My time with them Is just that. They have my full attention. It can be challenging and hard to trust someone with your loved ones. I vow to care for them professionally and compassionately.

I have been in the health care setting for over twenty years. I learn at an early age from my mother about how important and rewarding it is to take care of the elderly. My mother toke care of her mother and father and aunt and uncle. She brought them in her home and toke care of them. I helped her with them. Then I brought my mother and my father in my home and toke care of them with help of my husband till they pass in 2009. I've worked at three different hospital over twenty years. I am now 56 years old and work as a caregiver. I enjoy my job it is very rewarding work. I was also a foster parent so I enjoy children as well. I have firm but not to strong personality, l worked with my prior client until hi pass away (seven years), I have my profesional title as medical doctor from Mexico , but because of lack of language , and understanding I didn't pass my boards to practice medicine here. I am a good person, i believe in God, I have a good care of people, under my care, I cook good meals inheritance from my sister, I like to work with people taking care of them and their needs , talking to my patients, knowing them and their relatives , pass my board in Spanish to turn into medical doctor, deliver a baby, that is the most exciting experience for me.

I've been a home health aide for 13 years and a CNA for 7 years, I love everything about the elderly community! Im patient and extremely understanding to their needs. I started this journey in memory of my Grandmother Mrs. Bernice Hair, she was the best and she passed away when I was 14 years old. I loved her and still wish she was here to witness my heart physically! I enjoy talking with my clients learning all about them and their endeavors, kids, careers, marital advice, and all of their wisdom. I'm so proud of how I help my clients and families be comfortable in their new lives.
