Hello. (I am just starting out with Carelinx )I have been a caregiver pretty much my whole life. My first child was born with a host of health issues as well as ASD and extreme ADHD. Professionally I've been doing it for about 5 years. I started taking care of my father as he aged and provided his hospice care. Then I did it professionally after his death for a friend who hired me because I know how to navigate the va health system. I then started it professionally after relocating to MO. I enjoy taking care of people and am incredibly honest, compassionate, and dedicated to my clients. I do in fact believe that the first part of being a in home health care giver is to actually care. Hello, I began my caregiving experience in 2009 working at Alternative Opportunities, Inc. located in Springfield, MO as an in-home caregiver for mentally and physically handicapped adults. This included meal prep, observational bathing, light housework, medication administration, and charting/ documentation. In 2010 I had the opportunity to provide hospice support for my great-grandmother in Ava, MO as she neared the end of her life. I primarily provided companionship and medication administration. In 2012 I provided support as an observational sitter when my grandmother entered an induced coma for aneurysm care in a Las Vegas, NV hospital. Throughout these experiences, I have learned how to provide care by being observant, respectful, diplomatic, confidential, and reliable. My personal motto is that all God's children deserve love and care.

I am a mother of 4 children. I have a big heart and love to help others out, I have a soft spot for the elderly and enjoy being around them and helping them out.. I enjoy bringing joy into their lives and a personal achievement of mine is to make sure that I do the best job that I can possibly do,to care for and help out my client and their families.

I am a great caregiver because I am just naturally a very caring & giving person to everyone in my life. Caregiving is the only work I've done since graduating high school in 1998 & I would like to do nothing else in life as a career.
