I am a great caregiver because I am just naturally a very caring & giving person to everyone in my life. Caregiving is the only work I've done since graduating high school in 1998 & I would like to do nothing else in life as a career. I enjoy being a caregiver cause I like to make a difference in peoples lives & love knowing that I impacted someones life positively every chance I get.

I am a loving and caring person. I really enjoy helping others and making sure they are taken care of. I started being attracted to a caregiver role because I want to help others and I know there are so many people out there that need it. So I want to make a difference in others lives. Some things I enjoy about being a caregiver is knowing I've touched someone's heart that day and helped them with the things they needed done. A personal achievement I'm proud would be when my grandma had terminal cancer and I was the one that was able to take care of her. I gave her baths, I dressed her and did her makeup for her. I made her feel good and beautiful about herself. Even though she was going through all of that I took her mind off of it for a while. I currently take care of my mother with cleaning, bathing, meal prep and helping her get dressed for the day. I also make sure she has taken her medication.
