I love helping people, I have a heart for caregiving, I want to make every client feel comfortable around me. I like caregiving because I can make my client feel like they can trust me while caring for them when they don't have families, help, or their family has passed away. What I enjoy most about caregiving it seeing people smile that I take care of and knowing I do a great job. I am proud of sticking to the healthcare field it's my passion.

I became a caregiver because I love taking care of people, it gives me a pleasure to see that I can help people who can't help themselves. My personal achievement that I'm proud of is that I was able to be a caregiver for my mom who had brain cancer but passed last June due to her illness,and still worked as a c.n.a in geriatrics.

I started caring for both my parents but at different times when they were diagnosed with cancer yrs ago, my dad saw how I was with mom & from the time a also cared for him he knew it was my calling & he was comfortable in my care. Then just within the past year I was able to care for my mother in law as well. I just feel compassionate about caring for others & it's such a rewarding experience everyday to know I'm making a difference in someone's life! The most rewarding experiences I recall is when new accomplishments are made & to see their faces show such excitement. There's always something to be thankful for at the end of the day,

I had my own daycare for 20 years. I been taking care of children since my first brother was born when I was 6. Other people's children at age 13, newborn and a 12-year-olds. I have babysat or I have been a surrogate mother to many children when they needed it. Was a Foster Mom for many years. Love people, but have a special aptitude for children, elderly and handicapped. I became a caregiver so that I could be able to take care of my mother, I like the one on one care that way I can take better care of the clients. My sisters and I took care of my mother for 14 years. I know she 's was getting the best care at home instead of being in a nursing home. I thank God she lived to be 92 years old. I have learn so much by taking care of her. I have been a Certified Nurse Assistant for 16 year. And I love taking care of peoples, that 's my calling.

Hello, I'm Raphaela I've been in and out of the caregiving field roughly around 4/5 years. Growing up I've had several family members that have worked in assistance homes or nursing homes. Since a child I've always volunteered to help out at nursing homes. Wether it was bedside assistance or helping with activities and making sure they went to bed with a smile on their face. I'm currently in my senior year of college, majoring in biology. I have future plans of becoming a CNA and even more to be sure that I'll be able to continue to care and assist with the elderly. The thing I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to learn, connect and love on my clients. I still have connections with previous clients from years ago! Being that I'm such a loving and caring CG/PCA, I tend to connect with my patients as if I'm one of their own. I also have experience in the pharmacy, I was a pharmacy technician with Walgreens back in 2021-2022. I have always told others that I not medically inclined until almost three years ago my now 5 year old grand son almost drowned in our pool. Man had given upon him surviving. His parents were told that they would be provided with medically assisted suicide. To this day I have been thankful they did not go that route. I learned how to perform trachea change, g-tube feeding and administer medications via his G-tube, comfort him, I have talked many through and even out of major depression. I cared for my parents and grandmother who was a diabetic and those who had high blood pressure just to mention a few. I realized during these transitions that being a caregiver is such a critical player in a time of need because many family members are unable to stop their day to day lives and provide that much needed attention for their live ones. I promise to be loving and caring to your loved ones, they need the care and attention I have to offer.
