Approximately 15 years ago, I became my mother's Caregiver after she came home from Rehab for a major stroke. After working in a Family Medical office for a couple years, I began my Caregiver career. In the past 10+ years, I have worked as a Home Health Aide and CNA, providing many services to families and their loved ones, including (but not limited to) Alzheimers, Dementia, Quadriplegic, and Hospice Care. Services provided include companionship, transportation, meal prep, feeding, light housekeeping, pericare, input/output, taking and recording vitals, catheter care, colostomy care, medication reminders, assistance with bathing, showers, dressing, transfers, wound care maintenance, and oxygen maintenance. My special focus has been with Alzheimer's and Dementia care. I am a CNA and certified in CPR and First Aid, and continue to work on completing additional medical courses and pursue avenues to help strengthen me as a Professional Caregiver. I also maintain current Individual Professional Liability Insurance. Your loved ones peace of mind, comfort and health is my priority.

I enjoy helping people I have empathy my first experience was with my father who passed away with cancer from the time he was diagnosed he only lived seven months but I learned alot and very quickly with no experience @ the age of twenty years old I also had my brothers I had cooking cleaning bathing him in bed . Before my father my mother fell and broke her lower leg both bones she had a cast on all the way up her whole leg I was only 13 I had to learn how to change sheets on a bed while she was still in it I had to learned how to help get her up and ger get in a wheel chair I had to bathe her in bed & I also had to learn how to help her use a bed pan I did all the cooking and cleaning taking care of my brothers& also go to school also my middle child was born with autism so I feel like I can understand and know how to handle any situation with ant person I helped my son be independent enough he lives and thrives on his own to this very day that was my greatest achievement . I enjoy people but I most enjoyment is being able to help make each day in a persons life much easier

I'm always wanting to help others. And my first caregiver job was when i was 17, I sat with a neighbor for my last year of high school. I've always enjoyed it. It's like I'm keeping them company. My personal achievement I'm most proud of is being a mother!

Patient, compassionate, and understanding are all words to describe my work ethic. I've had quite a bit of experience with many different patient types, and I believe it's my calling. I truly want to make a difference in peoples lives, and what a better way, than to pay forward with a safe and comfortable life for the patients/residents. I'm CPR-certified.

Hello! I consider myself to be upbeat, nurturing, and patient. These skills are very important to me in being the best caregiver I can be. I became a full time caregiver about 8 years ago, and did it part time for about 12 years prior. My nature is to nurture and I really enjoy and appreciate helping others. I have really good references, I am fortunate enough to stay with my clients long term, usually becoming more like family. I have learned so much from everyone I have had the privilege to help, I treasure a lot of moments through out the years of helping others.

Hello, I have been a nursing assistant for approximately 28 years. I have worked in various healthcare settings such as nursing homes, hospitals and home health. I recently moved to Georgetown, Ky after working in Cincinnati in a cardiovascular intensive care unit. I am looking for a position as a caregiver of either a senior or a family. I am great with children and even provided day care services in my home some years ago. I am honest, loyal, hardworking, optimistic, cheerful, prompt, and a non-smoker. I have reliable transportation and am comfortable with pets. I am seeking long-term employment with a team-oriented family or senior. I enjoy the elderly most of all, I love being a caregiver and spending my days with them knowing I'm able to help them with any of their ADLs or just being around them to give companionship someone to talk and or to do puzzles with, take out shopping/ running errands just anything I appreciate any time I'm giving the opportunity to help them.
