Approximately 15 years ago, I became my mother's Caregiver after she came home from Rehab for a major stroke. After working in a Family Medical office for a couple years, I began my Caregiver career. In the past 10+ years, I have worked as a Home Health Aide and CNA, providing many services to families and their loved ones, including (but not limited to) Alzheimers, Dementia, Quadriplegic, and Hospice Care. Services provided include companionship, transportation, meal prep, feeding, light housekeeping, pericare, input/output, taking and recording vitals, catheter care, colostomy care, medication reminders, assistance with bathing, showers, dressing, transfers, wound care maintenance, and oxygen maintenance. My special focus has been with Alzheimer's and Dementia care. I am a CNA and certified in CPR and First Aid, and continue to work on completing additional medical courses and pursue avenues to help strengthen me as a Professional Caregiver. I also maintain current Individual Professional Liability Insurance. Your loved ones peace of mind, comfort and health is my priority.

Hello my name is Angie. I love being a caregiver because I like to make others lives a little bit easier. It brightens my day to see others smile. People want to stay in their homes and not have to go into nursing homes. If I can be a part of helping them to stay in their home then I feel I have been successful. I took care of my mother in law for a little over 10 years. I have also taken care of others in In their home.

I enjoy helping people I have empathy my first experience was with my father who passed away with cancer from the time he was diagnosed he only lived seven months but I learned alot and very quickly with no experience @ the age of twenty years old I also had my brothers I had cooking cleaning bathing him in bed . Before my father my mother fell and broke her lower leg both bones she had a cast on all the way up her whole leg I was only 13 I had to learn how to change sheets on a bed while she was still in it I had to learned how to help get her up and ger get in a wheel chair I had to bathe her in bed & I also had to learn how to help her use a bed pan I did all the cooking and cleaning taking care of my brothers& also go to school also my middle child was born with autism so I feel like I can understand and know how to handle any situation with ant person I helped my son be independent enough he lives and thrives on his own to this very day that was my greatest achievement . I enjoy people but I most enjoyment is being able to help make each day in a persons life much easier

I love working with elderly people, they make my days go by fast and I have fun with it. I love helping my clients with things they can't do. I also go out of my way, to make sure their experience is as great as mine was with them.

I have cared for my family and family friends for years. All, I want to do is help those who can't help themselves like they use to do. The way my mother cared for me when, I was young. She gave me the heart to care for others. The smiles on their faces when i can make them happy. Seeing my family walk again after their knee surgeries.

What makes me a good caregiver is empathy and a caring heart. What attracted me to caregiving was a need for a compassionate caregiver for a family member of my own and what a difference it made in a difficult situation. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is helping people/ families it connects me to others and their gratitude is so rewarding it lets me know I'm doing the right thing. My personal achievement that I am proud of is being a loving mother and wife to my family. I am patient, kind, dependable, and trustworthy.

I have been a caregiver for over 10 years! I have experience with Alzheimer's and Dementia, Diabetes care, companionship, post-op care, autism, etc. As your caregiver, I will be there 100% when needed with proper notice. I am a great caregiver because I don't treat caring for patients as a job. My goal is make my families feel as if I'm one of them. I am very caring and passionate, as well as understanding. I build a personal bond that allows the family and their loved one to feel safe and secure in my care. I decided being a caregiver was my calling once my grandmother became ill with brain cancer and I was responsible for her during the days. Although she was my granny, caring for her allowed me to see life differently, love her even more, and build a bond way different from just that of being her granddaughter.
