Hello, I consider myself a warm, compassionate person with a gift of patience. I empathize with many because I know what it feels like to need someone one to lend a hand and how difficult it may be to ask for that help when needed. At age 15, I cared for my dying mother and father, and decided to dedicate my life to be of service to others who could no longer care for themselves. I can honestly say that care giving brings out the best in me. When I see a need, whether it be physical, mental or spiritual one, I am challenged to work with the families to help fulfill that need. Everyone deserves that kind of experience in life and I believe everyone needs somebody. I am very proud to be a caregiver for the last 35 years and the families I have met have enriched my life and have helped me grow as a person. Care giving is a choice to make the world a better place.

What attracted me to being a caregiver is that I wanted to be a nurse since a young age and i enjoy providing care to others in need it just warms my heart knowing that I have out the best care I can possibly give.

I am a dedicated caregiver experienced in working with patients/clients alike. I take great pride in my work ethic and I am very passionate about caring for the elderly. I was socialized as a child in Africa to be close and care for the aged in my family and my college background in Social Work and Psychology has fully equipped me for the job ahead. I am committed to improving the patients/clients overall wellbeing and health through personal care and energetic but pleasant compassionate engagements. I am highly skilled in assisting patients/clients with activities of daily living and help with excercises. I prepare meals, keep kitchen, bathroom and living areas spic and span. I am very fun to be around with and for me, taking care of the elderly is an inate trait that makes me happy any time. I am also CPR/First Aid trained.

What makes Me a caregiver is taking of a different veriety of people everyday to mate sure they are cared for and protected. I have chosen to be a care giver because I love helping people and I'm very compassionate in the skill of doing my job in this field I am in.

My professional background is in Corp America in high level financial services but my personal background has always involved care for family, fur babies, friends and all folks in general. I have cared for family members and friends with disabilities as severe as cancer and dementia to lighter scenarios such as broken bones/sprains. I believe that Care is equal to love of mankind. What makes me a great care giver: I am compassionate to others and their feelings.i think of the seniors as if they were my own grandparents .i have a caring heart.i started helping my grandmother when she was sick and that is what made me continue in this field to help care for other seniors that may need help.
