I have a passion for care giving I was a fully qualified registered nurse in the UK and I have provided care for patients living in their own homes for over 20 yrs. I love it. I've worked in a respiratiry ward in the UK in the North Middlesex University Hospital caring for tracheostomy patients discharged from the ICU ward. Cared for patients with Asthma, COPD and acute respiratory conditions in a hospital settings for 3 years. Prior to the hospital experience I care for an Alzheimer's patient in her own home as a live in carer for 9 and a half years until she passed away at 94 years old. I worked in a residential home as well. Ihave a lot of experience.

I naturally have an urge to help others, my main priority is helping other people wholeheartedly. Empathy, compassion, Patience, Reliable, Trustworthy. Flexible. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members especially my grandparents, since then I have dedicated my time in doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. I enjoy getting familiar with patients and accommodating their special health needs. I've invested over 20 years of work experience both hospitals and in home care giving. I consider myself blessed to have a connection with the elderly. When I was a 14 yrs old had the most amazing bond with the 93 year old mother of our church and I will never forget her. I personally feel responsible for the helpless ; I didn't know I needed a reason why. However, I have realized it's not for everyone. I take pride in the connection and the ability to bond with a person in need of understanding and compassion. I now consider it a gift and I am humbly grateful.
