Lo que mas me atrajo fue la compasion viendo que muchos se quedan un poco solos y me gusta mucho atenderlos dandoles mi tiempo, platicar, y asi aprender mas de ellos. My name is Amada Martinez. I am 35yrs old and a mother of 2 boys. What attracted me to being a caregiver is being able to care for someone who really needs the help and for one reason or another doesn't have anyone in their corner. I enjoy being able to care for someone in need and it gives me joy knowing I'm able to be the person they can turn to just hear them vent, talk to, or even help them especially when they can't do it themselves. I'm mostly proud of both my boys they are my world and I'm proud to say i am raising 2 respectful, caring, loving young men.

I love what I do for other people. I am a very firm believer of phrase "do unto others as you'd like to be done to you". I am bilingual and able to write fluently as well (English/Spanish). I have been a caregiver for more than 10 yrs. and I really love the satisfaction my patients receive with my caregiving and attention.

I chose to give, to help, and provide to all those patients whom are in need. I have a huge passion for all my patients because they are all unique in their own ways. The feeling of relief, comfort, and trust from what I deliver makes my day. Knowing a small task can be challenging for someone, I'll be there to lend a helping hand. I've worked in the Healthcare industry for over two decades now. I've been a care giver to those close to me and I'm ready to be of assistance to more patients in need.

About me, I grow up taking care of my mom with cancer since I was 14 years old. What attracted to be a caregiver is that I want my patients to feel that there in good hand, I want them to see me as a family meme we not only as a caregiver. I've learned how important it is to be emotionally present, to listen, and to stay calm even in difficult situations. I've also become very good at organizing medications, keeping routines, and adjusting to changing needs--all skills that help me provide reliable care. * What attracted you to being a caregiver? Caring for my dad showed me how meaningful it can be to support someone you love through challenges. What started as something I did out of love became something I truly valued. It made me realize how important caregivers are and how powerful it is to help someone maintain dignity, comfort, and independence. * What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver? What I enjoy most is the connection and trust that forms. Being there for my dad gave me a deeper understanding of his needs, both physically and emotionally. It's rewarding to know that I can make a difference in his day, even through small things like a shared conversation or just being present when he needs support. * What is a personal achievement you are proud of? I'm proud of how I was able to help my dad stay at home and feel safe and cared for. There were tough times--physically and emotionally--but I stayed committed, learned as I went, and became stronger because of it. I'm proud of the patience I developed, and of how much I grew as a person during that time.

Thanks to multiple jobs I have had over the years I have developed a good amount of skills and knowledge, from over all handyman to health and fitness knowledge. My communication skills are good, I am attentive to detail as well as very energetic and experienced enough in the health care environment to provide all the services you may require. I am BLS/CPR certified and have put it to practice while my stay as a volunteer in the Zapata Fire Department. Other knowledge, for health care, has come from being an assistant with a chiropractor and nutritionist.

I have worked with a variety of Patients in different areas, neurological, orthopedic, pediatric, stroke recovery, geriatrics, etc. I have 3 years of experience working in these areas.
