My name is Amada Martinez. I am 35yrs old and a mother of 2 boys. What attracted me to being a caregiver is being able to care for someone who really needs the help and for one reason or another doesn't have anyone in their corner. I enjoy being able to care for someone in need and it gives me joy knowing I'm able to be the person they can turn to just hear them vent, talk to, or even help them especially when they can't do it themselves. I'm mostly proud of both my boys they are my world and I'm proud to say i am raising 2 respectful, caring, loving young men.

I'm a medical assistant and I love my job and the role that I have in the medical field. Having empathy and compassion for your patients. It's the golden rule treat others as you would want to be treated.

I chose to give, to help, and provide to all those patients whom are in need. I have a huge passion for all my patients because they are all unique in their own ways. The feeling of relief, comfort, and trust from what I deliver makes my day. Knowing a small task can be challenging for someone, I'll be there to lend a helping hand. I've worked in the Healthcare industry for over two decades now. I've been a care giver to those close to me and I'm ready to be of assistance to more patients in need.

About me, I grow up taking care of my mom with cancer since I was 14 years old. What attracted to be a caregiver is that I want my patients to feel that there in good hand, I want them to see me as a family meme we not only as a caregiver. What do I enjoy being a caregiver that's easy, there stories and for them to have someone to talk to. What is a personal achievement I'm proud of is that I can still take care of patients how I did with my mother.

I am a people person and I love to help all kinds of people, from babies, elderly, mental health and drug addiction. This line of work if what motivates my soul and is the best reward to me. I am a very out going person and love caring on conversations with people. I am very easy going and enjoy making a difference in people's lives. It is very unfortunate that I did not have the pleasure to care of my mother, because she past on at a very early age 69. I am a daughter whom happen to love my mother so much that I would want someone to care for her as if it she was meaning full to them in their lives. As a result, I will carry on with this desire to care for any person, specially and elderly or a person with disabilities as if they were my family member. I have been aspired to become a caregiver to leave my legacy behind and maybe have one of my patients younger family members one day pay my great service with their loved on pay it forward when is become a person or elderly in need of care. My greatest achievements in my life have been seeking the results of my effortless none stop enthusiasm in making a difference in people's lives. Thanks to multiple jobs I have had over the years I have developed a good amount of skills and knowledge, from over all handyman to health and fitness knowledge. My communication skills are good, I am attentive to detail as well as very energetic and experienced enough in the health care environment to provide all the services you may require. I am BLS/CPR certified and have put it to practice while my stay as a volunteer in the Zapata Fire Department. Other knowledge, for health care, has come from being an assistant with a chiropractor and nutritionist.
