Since a child I've always wanted to be in the health field , I grew up trying to help as many people as I possibly could . During my final year of middle I applied to the Academy of health professions program at Gainesville High School where I spent my four years of high school learning about the health field . Before Graduating I was able to sit for the state CNA exam where I earned my license and have been practicing since. What I enjoy the most about the health field is being able to make a change in patients lives . Even if I can't change their outcomes I know for certain I can change their moods and put a smile on their faces just by listening to what they have to say and reassuring them that I'm there for them . Everyone deserves to be in a good mood .

What makes me a great caregiver is I live very people and working in health care and doing what I love. What attracted me to be a caregiver is helping others in need itsy Passion I as a caregiver enjoy my job the most us the people I work with and there families. My achievement is getting my hha,my phlebotomy and continuing my medical assistant and going forward for my RN.

I have been a caregiver for 15 years. My love for others prompted me to become a caregiver. UF Shands IT analyst and 2 VA professionals. I've spent 30+ years in various nursing fields in facilities and private care working extensively with Geriatric Patients having conditions such as Alzheimer's, Oncology/Hematology, Neuro Injuries/TBI/Rehab Services. I've worked cases of NICU babies, Infants with premature birth, failure to thrive and with children on the autism spectrum with sensory/food aversions as well as cerebral palsy and triplets with continuous tube feeds and Oxygen. I was employed as Assistant Health and Safety Director for the American Red Cross assisting in Teaching CPR, First aid and Disaster Preparedness as well as supervising Challenge Testing for Health Care Professional, Paramedics, Nurses and Physicians. I have also worked as Activities Director for the Salvation Army's after school and summer youth programs for children at high risk/abuse and as Activities Supervisor for the Henderson Housing Authority working with the elderly. I have a current multi state background check as well as a driving record.

Ever since I was younger and help with both of my Grandmothers end of life care I knew this is what I wanted and desired to do for the rest of my life. I treat all my patients and family as if their my own in those hospitals beds. I love what I do, it's my compassion.
